Chapter Forty Seven

The Next Morning

Kailey's P.O.V

My alarm went off. Ugh! I got up and did my morning routine. I went downstairs and grabbed my backpack and was ready to walk out the door." Sweetie! Come get some breakfast!" My mom called out. I rolled my eyes." I am late for school!" I yelled out and ran out the door before she could say another word. I don't feel like going to school today. I pulled out my phone and texted my friend Jinx, well that's not his real name but we don't discuss that. I turned to an alley and pulled out my phone and texted him.

From Kailey To Jinx: I don't want to go to school 😣can you help? Like usual?😏

From Jinx To Kailey: Sure! 😝Should I improve your grades while I'm at it?🤓

From Kailey To Jinx: Yaaaasss! 🤗

From Jinx To Kailey: KK! But that's gonna cost you extra 💸💸💸💸💸

From Kailey: Don't worry I can pay👿😈, gotta go bye🤗

From Jinx to Kailey: Alright! 👏Bye bye!🤘

I put my phone back and started walking back, my mom was still here so I jumped the fence and hid in the back. She left a few minutes later then I climbed to the roof so I could go back to my room. I threw my backpack down and hoped back on my bed.

Jinx's P.O.V

I sat in my seat for first period. It's so boring! I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw Freddie.( I HAD TO!!!!!!!!!!!!)"Hey." Freddie said as the rest of the class was loud as hell." What do you want Reign?" I asked. Ever since he told me his middle name, I couldn't help but use it." I-I was wondering if you could help with my grades." He said. I chuckled and he frowned." And why would I do that?" I asked as I crossed my arms." Please, my mom would kill me if I get another bad grade." He said, he was practically begging." If I were to do this, what's in it for me." I said with a smirk." I have 50 dollars?" He said." I am gonna need you to higher that amount a tad." I said and he sighed." Fine, $100." He said I smiled." Deal." I said. I don't know why but, Kailey and I don't like Friddie that much, he's annoying! He talks to much and the only thing he talks about is himself." Hey so wanna hang out later Jinx?" He asked me." No, I don't want to and I never will want to do go back to failing this class." I said and he sighed. He got back to his work.

Edward's P.O.V

I woke up. I found a nice hotel to stay in. Fuck! I should start heading back to go get Kailey, but it's so nice here. No I need to go back I promised her, but I could get caught. Oh who am I kidding, one more day won't hurt. I got up and got dressed. I walked out of the hotel and got in the car. I started to drive around town since it was a nice town.

Kailey's P.O.V

I woke up a few hours later. I'm still fucking pissed about Edward. Maybe later Jinx can help me find him, or something. I got up and went to the kitchen. As soon as I walked up to the fridge, I saw a note on the fridge. I grabbed it and read it.

Hey Sweetie, there are some sandwiches in the fridge, oh and make sure your brothers do their home work. I will be home around 5:30 and your father if not 4:40 then 6:45

I ripped the note. She must have made that this morning for me when I was supposed to come home from school. I made myself a big breakfast sandwich. After I ate it I went to watch TV.

Later That Night

Jinx's P.O.V

I sat down and went to my laptop. I went to the attendance page for our school. I went to all of Kailey's classes and changed her absent to present. Then I went to all of her teachers grade books and gave her straight A's. All of her teachers really need to change their passwords! I mean half of them are one of their kids name but that's fine if you NEVER talk about your kids but those are the teachers that ALWAYS talk about their life. The other half are weird, just weird. I changed my grades as well then Freddie's. Kailey and I had one A a few C's and B's, he had straight F's. I closed my laptop and grabbed my phone to text Kailey.

I put my phone down. Wait! I could find Edward. I went on my phone again and went to Find My iPhone. I typed in the information that was needed and it told me his phones location. I got up and went to my older sister's room." Ashley, can you give me a ride to Kailey's house?" I asked and she smirked." Of course!" She said. We went downstairs, our parents aren't home yet anyway. We went in her car and she drove to Kailey's house." I will stay here, just be quick." She said and I nodded. I ran inside and knocked on the door. Her mother opened the door." Hello Jeremy, do you need something?" She asked with a smile. Ugh! I hate it when people use my real name!" Yeah, can I talk to Kailey?" I asked and she nodded. I went up to Kailey's room. I opened the door and she was crying." Oh, hey Jinx, sorry you need to see me like this, I j-just miss Edward." She cried out as I shut the door." Well then it's a good thing I'm here, I know where he is." I said and she smiled." What?! W-where? Is he on his way?" She asked as she smiled even wider." He is in a big town a few hours from here, and I don't think he's on his way, he seems to just keep going around town." I said and she frowned." What?! He said he was going to come and get me!" She yelled as she grabbed her phone. She dialed his number." Ugh! He's not answering!" She yelled." Listen you! If you don't come and get me soon, I'm going to find you!" She yelled and hung up the phone.
