Flash Back To 2 Years ago

Darcy's P.O.V

I kept pulling and pulling my leg, I knew it was hopeless, but I had to try. My ankle was handcuffed to a pole. I could see blood coming down from my ankle, blood from me pulling and the cuffs rubbing and tearing at my skin.

I heard the door jiggle. I gasped and tried to wipe the blood away so he wouldn't see I tried to escape. The door opened and it was him, him and a boy." Here is another one, be nice to him okay sweetie?" He said as he yanked the boy to me and cuffed the boy to the same pole I was cuffed to." You two be nice! And don't think about touching my daughter in any sexual way!" He yelled as he left the room. I heard him lock the door." W-what's your name?" I asked the boy. He slowly turned his head to me. His eyes were green but red and puffy. He had bruises and cuts everywhere." E-Ethan, You?" He said as he looked me in the eye." D-Darcy." I said. He nodded his head." H-how long have you been here?" He asked and I looked away." 2 months, when I was able to steal my phone from him I told my friends not to come fine me because he would kill them, like he did to that other girl's friends." I said and his eyes went wide." Darcy we have to get out of here." He whispered and I shook my head." Ethan, I know but how?" I whispered and he shook his." I don't know, do you have anything in your hair?" He asked as he tried pulling on his cuffs. I was feeling through my hair. A Bobby pin! I pulled it out of my hear and handed it to him. He smiled then started to pick at the lock on his cuffs.
About 5 minutes later he got both of us unlocked." That door is locked right?" He asked and I nodded as we both stood up." Shit." He said. He started to look around. He picked something up. A wrench?" When do you think he will be back?" He asked as he kept looking around." In an hour he always comes at six to feed us." I said and he went back to his pole." We can fake being cuffed." He said as he put the cuff around his ankle but didn't close it. I ran back to him and did the same." What do we do when he comes back?" I whispered as he hid the wrench behind us." When he comes back, we wait for the right moment then I'll hit him on the head hard with the wrench on the head then we make a run for it." He whispered and I nodded." If one of us gets caught, promise the other will run for help?" I said as I stuck it my pinky finger." Promise." He said as we connected our pinky fingers together.

An Hour Later

I heard the door jiggle. I grabbed Ethan's hand and squeezed it. I let go before the door opened. It was him, he came in with a tray. It had two plates, two cups, and two forks. He put the plates, cups, the forks in front of us. He turned to sit down but before he could turn back around Ethan got up and hit him straight on the head with the wrench." Run!" Ethan yelled. I got up and ran past his laying body. We ran up the stairs then out the back door. We ran and ran. We made it to a clothing store, it was closed." Over here." Ethan said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into an alley way. We hid behind the dumpsters." Shh." He whispered as he covered my mouth and his. I was shivering in fear. Ethan pulled me in for a hug. He held me for a while.
30 Minutes Later
" I think we are safe." Ethan said as he stood up. He held his hand out to me and I smiled. We went out of the alley and walked for a little bit." What's that thing on your neck?" I asked because I saw something on his neck. He pulled it all out from his shirt, it was a dog tag." Why does it say Cameron?" I asked as we kept walking." It was my little brother's." He said.
Flash back to 4 years ago

Ethan's P.O.V

" No! Don't say that! You are going to get through this! You can beat Cancer's ass!" I said as I cried into Cameron's arm." Ethan, l-look at me." He said. I sniffed and looked up. He grabbed my hand and I squeezed his." I am not going to make it and you know it, I'm already almost gone." He whispered and a tear fell down my cheek." I can't l-live without you, your my l-little brother Cam, I need you." I whispered and he smiled." Yes you can, I'm going to need you to move on, for me Ethan, play baseball because we both love it, do what we both dream, make me proud. I love you Ethan." He said." I love you too Cam." I said as I hugged him. I heard a long and loud beep go off. I looked up and saw his monitor was a straight line." Cameron?" I said as I shook him." Cameron!" I yelled as I shook him." Cameron wake up!" I yelled as I kept shaking him. I felt arms grab me and pulled me out of the room." Cameron!" I yelled." Sir I am sorry but, he gone." A doctor said. I cried and cried. I looked in my hand and saw his dog tag, he must have put it in my hand when he grabbed my hand. I sniffed and wiped my tears. I put it around my neck and stood up. I walked into his room. The doctors moved so I could see him. I moved the blanket they used to cover his body. I kissed his forehead. I leaned in to his ear." I'm going to make you proud." I whispered as I covered him back. I turned and walked out of his room.
End Of Flashback
" I am so sorry Ethan." Darcy said as she hugged me." Ever since then I played Baseball, it was our favorite sport, I won so many games, all for him." I said with a smile. I kissed the dog tag." Oh kids!" I heard as I turned. It was him with a smirk on his face, he had a gun!" Darcy!" I yelled. I pulled her in and turned my back to him. I heard a gun shot and felt pain in my back.
I let go of Darcy and started falling." Ethan!" Darcy yelled as she grabbed me. She slowly put me on the ground." Ethan you are going to be okay, look, he's leaving, he's walking away, you are going to be fine." She said as she was panicking. People started coming." Darcy, you sound like me, I didn't want to accept that he was dying." I said with a weak smile." Ethan don't talk that that." She said. I pulled off the dog tag. I grabbed her hand." Promise me you will make sure that son of a bitch gets what he deserves." I said and she bit her lip." I-I promise." She said." Make me proud." I said as I kissed her hand." C-Cameron?" I said and he smiled. It was him! He hasn't changed at all except he has his hair! He stuck out his hand and I took it.
Darcy's P.O.V
Ethan's hand fell." Ethan?" I said as I shook him." Ethan!" I yelled as I shook him." Ethan wake up!" I yelled as I shook him. I felt arms pull me away from him. I cried and cried.
I looked at my hand and saw the dog tag, he must have given it to me when he grabbed my hand and k-kissed it. I sniffed and wiped my tears. I put the dog tag on my neck and walked up to Ethan's body. Everyone moved to I could see. I kissed his cheek." I'm going to make you proud." I whispered as I got up and walked away.
