I spent the journey home with my head in my hands. Caleb stayed silent as he pulled into my driveway. He pulled the handbrake up and glanced at the house, his heart rate increased as he looked out the window. "What's wrong, Caleb?" "Umm." I glanced up to see my dad, sitting on the front steps of the house, staring curiously into the car. I froze in an attempt to work out what to do. "Come on, I'll go first." Caleb opened his door and stepped out. I know my dad has never liked any guy who had gotten close to me. I watched after my brave angel before exiting the car and following him.

My dad stood up as we approached. "Kathy, who is your friend here?" He asked questionably. "Dad, this is Caleb. He recently moved to Belfast and started going to high school with me." Although my dad appeared calm I was never sure of what he was thinking. He really didn't like Stef, but something about his reaction was different. "Alright, I'm going for a snooze, keep the volume down." He shook Caleb's hand before going into the house. I turned to Caleb. "Was that some kind of angel mojo or something?" He looked slightly embarrassed.

"Most humans see us differently from tainted creatures, like vampires. They see us with more of a glow, I suppose, even if we have fallen." My eyes widened in wonder. "I should go, it's a school night." He winked before he got back into the car and set off. Minutes later my phone buzzed in my pocket. Flipping it open I noticed two messages had been left; one from Caleb, and the other from the same number as the last creepy message. I ignored it and opened the chat log to Caleb. 'Hey. Look up.' I walked out to the garden and stared up, into the deep blue sky.

To the west the sky seemed to the lighten until it became a white glow, the white light moved gracefully across the sky and hovered over my house. Colours shot out from the light and swirled together to cover the entire sky. Part way through the display it started raining, however it was raining the different colours in the sky.

The colours dispersed and it started to rain normally, so I ran under the large, sheltering tree beside the house. I looked up at the sky again and started to giggle. Pulling out my phone I texted Caleb. 'Was that you? It was amazing!' I smiled down at the phone. "Yes, that was quite extraordinary, wasn't it?" I gasped and turned around.
