~Your POV~

It's been a year now. It was my 18th birthday.

Juuzou had gotten me a phone a few months ago, at the same time I was officially hired to work at the CCG.

I still lived in the CCG building, but it wasn't locked and I had my freedom.

I missed my family dearly, but I couldn't get the opportunity to see them. I had the home phone number and I would try to call everyday, but some days I couldn't.

Well, it was my 18th birthday, and a Saturday, so I had the day off.

I took my phone out and called the house. My Mon picked up.

"Hey (Y/n)! Happy birthday sweetheart." I could basically hear her smile over the phone.

"Thank you mom! Mom, I'm calling to ask if it was okay to come over, I want to see you all, I miss you very much." I frowned, considering I hadn't seen them in such a long time.

I knew my mom's smile got wider. "Of course you can! oh goodness, I can't wait to see my baby girl."

I smiled. "And can I bring my friend Juuzou?" I asked.

"Of course you can! Now hurry up and get here. We have two birthdays to celebrate!"

I smiled and hung up the phone. I then called Juuzou.

" Hey (Y/n)! What's up?" His voice sounded excited.

~Juuzou's POV~

Of course I was happy, I was always excited to see or talk to (Y/n).

" Juuzou, can you come pick me up please!" She begged.

"Of course! Where am I taking you?"

"My parents house. I just got off the phone with my mom and I told her I wanted to come over. But it'll take awhile if I walk." She sounded nervous, but excited at the same time.

"I'm on my way!" I said and hung up.

I got in my car and went to the CCG building to pick (Y/n) up.

~Le time skip~

(Y/n) had given me directions and we were standing in front of the front door.

She took a deep breath and opened the door. "Mom! Dad! Larkin! I'm home!" She exclaimed.

Soon, her family came up to her and smothered her in hugs and "I missed you so much" a bunch of those things. I stood there awkwardly. Well, I did till (Y/n)'s brother, Larkin, came up to me. "Who are you?" He asked. The guy looked like a guy version of (Y/n).

"I'm Juuzou. I'm her... friend." I paused before I said "friend." By now I had discovered that I really liked this girl. Maybe so much that we could call it love.

"I'm Larkin, (Y/n)'s twin." He held his hand out to me, and I shook it.

Well, basically, we spent (Y/n) and Markings birthday just at her parents house. Her family were so nice and I think they liked me.

"Well, it's getting late. I have to go back to the CCG building. We have a case we started yesterday. I was suppose to do some work, but I was told someone else would for me, considering its my birthday. Happy birthday Larkin and bye Mom and dad!" She big them goodbyes, and I did the same.

On the way home, she ended up falling asleep.

I parked the car in the CCG parking lot and looked over at her. She looked adorable when she slept. She did go through with the eye surgery, even though she changed her mind often, after 2 months of the idea, we finally did it.

I started to lean over closer to her, and I planted a small kiss on her lips.

I noticed she didn't wake up, and I was sorta glad, but at the same time, I wish she did.

I picked her up, and carried her to her room in the CCG building.

I laid her down and left the room in a sigh.

I wish she knew how I felt, but I was to scared to tell her.
