~Your POV~
The next day we went back home. I had a lot of fun with Juuzou, but it was time to go home.
I was excited to see my children again, I always hated being away from them. It was one day without them and I was missing them.
We took our stuff out of the hotel room, and returned the key. We got in the car. As we were heading home, we had a nice conversation, but I don't remember what about.
When we got home, we were basically attacked by Aiko. We laughed and hugged her.
"Mommy! Daddy! I missed you."
"We missed you too." I said and kissed the top of her head. "How is your uncle and siblings?"
"I think they are okay?" She shrugged.
"Well, I'm gonna go check and see. You stay here with your daddy." I got up from crouching down to Aiko's height, and I went to the twins room first.
I smiled to see them both asleep. It was nap time for them and Cosette. I went up to go see Hinata first, since he was closer. He was so cute and small. I brushed his cheek slightly with my thumb, then went to Miko. I noticed something wrong. Milo seemed distressed in his facial features. I didn't see his chest moving up and down, so I put the crib gate thing down. I put my ear up to his mouth to see if I could hear breathing. Nothing.
I picked Miko up and hurried downstairs. "Juuzou!" I ran up to him. "Juuzoou, Miko isn't breathing!"
Juuzou's eyes widened and Larkin came out of the kitchen, probably over-hearing what I said.
"What?! Come on, we need to hurry to the hospital." Juuzou and I ran out of the door, trusting that Larkin knew he had the three children to look after.
I tried to get him to breathe as I sat in the back seat with him. I was crying, and trying to be gentle with him. Miko was born a human from a ghoul. He was bound to have medical problems, just like Cosette was. Cosette was born a ghoul from a ghoul, so she would've been fine, for the most part, if it wasn't for her dwarfism.
We hurried into the hospital, and they took Miko from us right away. We were told to wait in the waiting room.
I was so worried about him. Juuzou has this tendency to always act so happy, even when he shouldn't. I wanted Juuzou to at least let it go for once and show how he really feels. I was his wife, of course I could tell when he's upset. His smile wears him out more, and he shakes.
"Juuzou, please stop acting. I know your worried abd upset. We don't even know what's wrong with our kid."
Juuzou looked over at me. He dropped his smile. "How could you tell?"
"I just know. I'm your wife, I can tell these things." I reached over and held his hand. "Juuzou, things will be fine. Miko will get better, and we'll be with him as much as possible."
"I just... Should we of left for two days? It's my fault for suggesting we stay another day. I'm so sorry!" A tear fell down his cheek.
" It is not your fault! Juuzou, even if we weren't there, this woukdve happened.don't blame yourself on this. It isn't anyone's fault." I kissed his cheek, as tears kept falling from his eyes.
Juuzou kept trying to wipe the years like a kid would. Hands in fists and rubbing his eyes. "Y-your right, it isn't our fault."
"See I-"
"It's Larkins!"
My eyes widened. "It was n-"
"He was suppose to take care of our kids and he probably forgot about Miko, since Harmony was there to distract him!" He grew angry, and fast. "Larkin doesn't care about our kids!"
"Juuzou, that isn-"
"He's gonna pay for that! He would wish he never came to live here with us!" Juuzou stood up, obviously angry.
"Juuzou! Stop that! It isn't Larkin, he had nothing to do with this! Even if we were there this would've happened. Miko is a very weak baby, he's gonna have troubles. None if this is Larkins fault. Larkin loves our kids, all four of them. Juuzou, don't blame my brother." I frowned and stood up after him.
"Sure, Miko is a very weak kid, but Larkin should've been up there with the kids!" Juuzou growled, and Larkin walked in, which made the situation worse. "Larkin, where's the other three?" Juuzou was certainly pissed.
"Harmony came over. I wanted to be here with you guys. I love Miko an-" Juuzou cut him off.
"Well, if you loved Miko, then you should've been up there to check on them!" Juuzou grew an insane smile.
"Guys, stop!" I tried to push Juuzou back. I knew he was insane. Even then, he wouldn't hurt Larkin, considering I wouldn't be able to forgive him. But Juuzou ended up pushing me back.
" You stay out it!" He growled at me.
"When you guys got home, I had just left the twins room! Miko was breathing fine when I left. Literally, I was leaving that room right when you two got home. I didn't mean to hurt Miko, if I did."
The guys kept arguing back and fourth as I was trying to break the fight up. Larkin was defending himself, as Juuzou blamed him. The people in the room were staring at us.
It wasn't until the doctor walked in and saw me sitting in a seat, crying. I had basically given up. I didn't need my brother and husband fighting, while my kid is in the hospital. "Mrs. Suzuya?" The doctor asked if that was me.
I nodded.
"Would you like to know what happened?"
