Sleepovers «Juuzou X Reader»

~Your POV~

The birth seemed to last awhile, but it wasn't painful for me, just hard.

I laid in the hospital bed, waiting for the okay to see our baby.

Juuzou was sitting beside me, and Larkin had come after the baby was born. So Larkin and Juuzou were there in the hospital room with me.

After a couple minutes, the doctor walked in with Cosette.

Juuzou and I glanced at each other as the doctor handed Cosette to me.

I smiled and looked at her. Juuzou leaned over and smiled at her, while Larkin stood there awkwardly.

I looked over at Juuzou, smiling. "Juuzou, we have a baby girl now."

Cosette looked a lot like me, but you could tell that she didn't look exactly the same. "Can I hold her?" Juuzou asked. He seemed happy.

I nodded and handed the small baby to Juuzou. "She's so small." I said and smiled contently. "Come over here Larkin and see your niece."

Larkin did as I instructed and he walked over. "Your right, she is small." He laughed slightly and Juuzou handed her to Larkin.

After a couple minutes, Larkin had to leave and go back home.

"Juuzou, do you think that maybe sometime we could have put own baby together? Not anytime soon, but do you think we could?" I asked and looked into Juuzou's eyes.

He seemed a bit nervous and bit his lip. "I can't."

My eyes widened slightly. "What do you mean? Why can't you?"

He sighed out and explained everything to me. It broke my heart. I knew he never talked about his past, and that's when I understood why he didn't. "Well.. I don't care if you can't have one. I still love you, and maybe we can just adopt sometime." I tried to reassure him.

He nodded. "Yeah! Maybe we can!"

The doctor walked in and smiled. "Ms. (L/n), you can leave anytime you feel like your well-rested enough."

I nodded. "Okay, I'll be leaving soon, I'm sure of it." I looked down at our sleeping child. Cosette was a little person and she was born 2 months early. It was almost just 1 month though.

The doctor was about to leave, so I could get changed, but he stopped himself. " Oh and, we will call you when you should come by the hospital next. We need to still run some tests on your baby since she is a little person. And when you come by for the tests, we'll tell you what find of dwarfism she has." He smiled at me and left.

Juuzou took Cosette from me, and I got dressed. I wasn't in any pain, but my legs felt weak.

I was actually glad that I finished decorating Cosette's room early. I had been very excited for her, so I finished early.

"Okay, lets go!" I smiled and took Juuzou's free hand.

~Le time skip~

It was really early in the morning when we got back. It was a weekday. Juuzou and I both got the rest of the week off work though.

We took Cosette up to her room and laid her down in bed.

I smiled and kissed her cheek lightly. "Goodnight, baby Cosette." I smiled and left her room.

I went to our bedroom and laid down to fall asleep. Juuzou was already asleep when I went into our bedroom. I crawled in bed and fell asleep.

I later woke up at 12:00 in the afternoon. Juuzou wasn't in bed though.

I sat up and stretched. Today would be the first full day we would have Cosette with us.

I was very excited.
