Its been a month and a half now. I had to go home and take care of my children. When I wasn't with Juuzou, it killed me. When k wasn't with my children, it killed me.

I didn't sleep good at night. I had to cuddle a pillow every night, filled with Juuzous scent.

I left work early, getting a call from the hospital that Juuzou might wake up that day. I hurried to the hospital, making sure that I would be there.

I sat in the chair beside his bed, and waited patently for a sign. Juuzous skin color had come back about two weeks before. He was getting warmer as well. I was starting to fill up with optimism.

Shinohara came too. We both talked some but mostly waited for Juuzou to wake up.

It wasn't till 3:41 AM that Juuzou woke up. I was so happy.

I hugged Juuzou instantly. "I missed you so much."

"Its okay, I'm not going anywhere." His voice was weak and quiet.

I let go of him, and Shinohara hugged him. "I'm so happy to see your okay."

"Shinohara-san, I was always okay." He smiled weakly. I assumed he was trying to lighten the mood.

We were both really happy to see him, to know he was okay.

"I-i want to see the kids." He lifted his arm up to his face, rubbing his eyes.

"I'll bring them over later. It's to early in the morning."

I kept talking to Juuzou, and so did Shinohara. The doctors didn't want to many people in here, so it would just be Shinohara and I.

"No one could get her to leave the hospital for awhile. Larkin was the first to try, I tried, Abara tried, and even your kids tried. (Y/n) wouldn't leave you alone. When she had to leave for work, it wasn't for long, and she'd come straight back here. After the twins got home, she had to go home and take care of them." Shinohara informed Juuzou.

"The twins had to be born early. I named one Hinata like you wanted, and I named the other Miko. Hinata is healthy, but he's a ghoul. Miko is human, so he was born with one leg. It didn't seem like he could see, so I took him to the doctors and found out he was blind. I been having a hard time trying to feed Miko, but he gets it." I took Juuzous hand. His hands were warmer.

"I heard you, I already know all of this." His smile was weak, yet cheerful.

"You could hear me? I was so scared that you couldn't hear." I thought about how much I missed him. I wanted to go back and tell myself that it'd be okay. That I didn't have to worry so much.

"Yeah, I heard you. I tried so hard to wakeup on multiple occasions. My eyes didn't want to open, and I couldn't move. I finally got them to open, though."

"The CCG hasn't been the same without you, Juuzou. People have been sending your family stuff to help them out, including myself. I sent your family some food and coffee." Shinohara smiled. I remembered when he did that, it was very nice of him.

"Thank you, Shinohara-san."

"I'll let you guys have some alone time. I'll come back later, maybe with my family if your up for it tomorrow." He waved and left the dull room.

"How are the kids?" He asked and rubbed my hand with his thumb.

"Aiko has been very worried. Cosette, I need to take her for a doctor's checkup sometime soon. Since she has dwarfism, there might be something there that we can't see. Hinata is a healthy baby boy, he's also a ghoul. Miko could be doing better, but he's getting there." I couldn't stop smiling, I knew he was awake and healthy.

I got my love back!
