~Juuzous POV~

I was in the middle of fighting a ghoul when it happened. I was trying to kill this ghoul, but he was giving a good fight. Just as I stabbed him with my Quinque, I felt a sharp pain in my torso.

I looked back and saw a ghoul had stabbed me right through where my left lung was suppose to be. He smiled widely at me as he threw me down on the ground with his kagune. I hit my head on the brick wall, and my vision blacked out.

I felt like I couldn't move. I could hear and feel things, but I couldn't move or see.

I assumed Shinohara killed the ghoul, but I didn't know.

I heard sirens, police and medical sirens. Some people had probably seen what was going on, and called.

I was picked up and put on this hospital thing. I felt as though I was asleep, yet I could hear and feel.

I assumed I was rushed to the hospital, while I assumed people were working on my wounds.

When I got there, I forgot what happened. The next thing I remembered was hearing a door open. I heard footsteps hurry to my bed side. I felt warm arms hug me, and I heard crying. I knew it had to be (Y/n). I knew what it felt like when she hugged me. And I knew her crying.

I wanted to hug her back, and tell her everything was going to be okay, but I couldn't! It frustrated me.

I wanted to tell her that I'd be okay. I couldn't talk. I didn't even know if I'd be okay. People say the last thing to go before you die is your hearing.

Awhile later, I didn't know the days, she came in. I didn't hear footsteps, but I knew it was her.

"Juuzou, we have two sons now. I had to have them early. Miko was born without a leg, and he's a lot smaller then Hinata. The twins are Hinata and Miko." I heard her say. My son's were born and I wasn't there. That just made me feel even worse.

I heard her call, who I assume was her brother. I was assuming a lot, cause I didn't know.

The room went silent, except for a small snore from (Y/n). I knew she hadn't been getting sleep, cause she talked to me a lot. I was.glad she stooeod worrying about me to sleep.

After a couple minutes, I heard the door open again. "Mommy!" It was Aiko's voice.

(Y/n) stopped snoring. "H-hey." She yawned.

Poor thing, she needed some rest. She had just given birth, and she wasn't sleeping much.

I wanted to help her, but I just couldn't.

But, I knew I would fight through this. I would fight for my family.
