~Your POV~

The man, he was very interesting. He wasn't serious at all, I always thought that the CCG investigators were all serious. I was proven wrong.

I was still very shocked about what was going on, I had no idea I was a ghoul.

We were getting to know each other. He was really nice and explained a lot to me. I never thought that a CCG was going to be nice, I thought they hated ghouls. Well, I was terrified, I was gonna be put in a prison, for something that isn't my fault. I think he noticed that I was worried.

"We just met and all, but I have a feeling that you have no bad intentions. I'll try to convince my boss to let you train in the CCG and help fight with us." He smiled.

I looked at Juuzou in shock - was he really gonna be this nice? "But, you barely know me."

"I can tell that you aren't what you seem." He stared at me. His gaze somehow comforted me.

"I would love that." I smiled back at him.

~Juuzou's POV~

I don't know why, but I felt like I could trust this woman, like I've known her for awhile, like old friends.

I felt bad for her, I didn't want her to go to the ghoul prison. Either the prison or she would be put to death.

I knew there had to be a reason that we met. I wasn't gonna let the others put her in prison. I was gonna make sure that she would be trained and would help fight with us.

"Well then, I'm gonna go to the headquarters and talk to them. I'll come back later." I stood up and left.

Once I got to the CCG headquarters, I went straight to my bosses office.

I knocked on the door, until I heard. "Come in."

I opened the door and saw my boss doing some paperwork. He looked up at me. "Hello Mr. Suzuya. What is it you need to talk about?" He set his own down.

I sighed out and smiled. "Well Mr. Boss, that one new ghoul, I don't think that she is dangerous. I've gotten to know her these past 3 days and I think we should train her, she can fight with the CCG." I smiled and walked up to His desk.

He seemed to be thinking. "Well, I guess so. But she will be your responsibility. She may have one of the empty rooms in the main building. But we have to make sure that it locks from the outside. But, if you trust her, then we will give her a chance." He smiled reassuringly at me.

I started to smile wider. "Thank you senpai, I'll go back to the hospital now to watch her." I turned around and walked out of the building.

~Your POV~

It seemed like awhile till Juuzou made it back. While I waited, I thought for a little. Is this such a good idea? I mean, what if I snap and try to kill one of the investigators, or worse, Juuzou, my only friend.

I also thought about my family. How I missed my parents and brother. I really wanted to be with my fnaoky so badly. Maybe when Juuzou gets back, I'll ask if I can see them, I remembered the home phone.

I thought about Larkin, I felt so and for him, going through high school by himself. I miss my brother the most. He was always there for me. But how will they react when they find out I'm a ghoul? I know they are all human, I was informed I wasn't the only one there. There were others, and they were ghouls, they tested on humans. Multiple ones there died but I learned I went through surgery and was a made a ghoul, that's why I had a big scar on my torso.

But, my thoughts were interrupted when Juuzou walked in. "I have some good news."
