~Juuzou's POV~
I woke up in the middle of the night, but (Y/n) wasn't there.
I looked around the whole house, but she wasn't anywhere to be found. So, I put some shoes on and walked outside.
I looked around, and I thought I heard voices from the shed. I walked to the back yard, and I opened the shed.
I saw a figure pull up my wife, and held a knife that looked like mine up to her neck.
I knew exactly who the man was, Naoki. He had lost his wife to a ghoul, and that's what made him join the CCG. He got Re-married, but he hated ghoul.
"Juuzou, I know this is just a game to you. I will take your toy away if you come any closer!" He said as he pressed the knife into my wife's skin.
He thought this was a game?
"Listen, she isn't my toy. I love her and I'm not playing with her. Please, just give me my wife. You had a wife, you know how hard it is to lose one, too. Please, don't put me through that." I out my hands in front of myself, like someone had a gun aimed at me. I wouldn't be scared of someone aimed a gun at me, but I would be more than angry if someone did that to (Y/n).
The man's face grew an angry expression. "My wife DIED because of a stupid ghoul! I'm not letting that happen again!" He pressed the knife deeper into her neck, making it bleed.
I regret what I did next. I lunged at him. As soon as he saw me move, he slit her throat.
I lost control, and I beat Naoki repeatedly. I didn't stop till he was dead, or nearly dead.
After that, I hurried back over to (Y/n) where she was struggling to keep her eyes open. She was coughing, making the choking worse. Poor thing was choking on her own blood. Ghouls always had horrible deaths. Horrible, tragic deaths.
I couldn't help it, but tears started flowing out of my eyes.
I yelled out for help. Some if our neighbors woke up form how loud my screams were. At first they came over here to yell at me, then they were each calling the hospital and cops.
I heard her whisper "Goodbye, Juuzou."
That broke my heart.
At the time, I didn't notice Aiko had ran out. She was standing at the shed door. I didn't even notice her.
I didn't even notice anyone.
Well, I didn't until the medics took (Y/n) away from me.
They checked her pulse on her wrist, and then out her on a stratcher. She wasn't put in a body bag. Maybe she wasn't dead? Maybe she still had a chance?
One of my neighbors said they'd watch my chidkren for me, so I could go to the hospital.
I got in the ambulance with the medics team. They all worked on her neck, trying to stop the bleeding.
I had a little hope that she'd make it.
Bad part is, the guy wouldn't go to jail cause she's a ghoul. If anyone would go to jail, it'd be me. I'd be put in jail for killing an "innocent" person. I just had to hope he wouldn't press charges, which he probably would.
We got to the hospital, and they had to take (Y/n) away. I had to wait in a dull waiting room.
I didn't know what to do.
I pulled my phone out, and I called Larkin. At first, he was mad I woke him up, but then the anger turned to sorrow.
I then called Shinohara. He wasn't mad I woke him up, he understood I wouldn't call him this early in the morning without a reason. He said he would be right there.
I would've called Abara, but I didn't want much people here. And I told Larkin to go get his parents.
Now, this was the hardest part, the waiting game.
