It was 3 am and Dania couldn't sleep. Her mind was racing with thousands of different thoughts.
Would Taha be as good as Ahmed? Would he really help her get Amna back? Will her new mother and father-in -law be just like her old one's?
But then again, for a moment, she wanted to forget all the bad things and just for some time. Just to feel her lips curl up in a smile. She wanted to focus on the good things

The meeting:
"Look we.." Sakeena was going to talk about the part which always scared Dania the most. She was going to talk about helping Dania get Amna's custody and to accept Amna as a daughter
"I already know what you're gonna say Mrs. Malik. You're going to talk about her" Taha said pointing to Amna's picture sitting on the side table
"May I know her name?"
"Amna" Sakeena answered
"Right Amna. She is adorable" Taha smiled
That made Dania smile. Everybody who learned that Dania had a daughter always found ways to get out of the house but he was the first one who appeared calm. Maybe it was because he was her uncle's best friend. He must've told him before. It was very sweet of him to come even though he knew Dania had a daughter.
Get a grip Dania
"I'll be more than happy to help Dania take Amna back and I promise you that I'll raise her like my own daughter"
Dania didn't know but there was something that made her stomach turn in a good way when Taha said her name. She liked him even more after what he just said
"But there are somethings that I have to tell you too"
"Please go on" Sakeena said
Sakeena was extra ordinary-ily happy to hear the words Taha said about Amna. She was certain that he was a pure gentleman
"Maybe you will hesitate saying yes after what I say" he chuckled nervously
"I'm 18 years older than Dania. She's young but I'm not that young and I have been married before but things didn't work out and she left. We never spoke after that" he said in one breathe, nervously
"We have absolutely no problem with that. What's gone is gone" Sakeena grinned happily.
What is wrong with mother? What if? What if his wife left her because HE wasn't a good man? What if he is just pretending to be nice? I have to discuss this with mother later
------
Her happy smile suddenly disappeared when she remembered what Taha had said. She totally forgot about that.
"I have to go talk to mother" she whispered to herself and ran downstairs
"Can I come in?" She asked Sakeena who had just finished offering her prayer
"Someone looks happy and what's that" she said pointing to Dania's face as if she was figuring out something "happy and worried" Sakeena said and patted next to her on the bed, gesturing for her to sit down
"Tell me what's wrong" she smiled at Dania
