"I can't believe we're going back already," I said, looking out the airplane window. "It's like we got here just yesterday!"
"But you had a good time, didn't you?" Aiden said, smiling.
"No." I replied.
"No?" He repeated.
"No, I didn't have a good time. I had a great time!" I exclaimed joyously.
Aiden laughed.
It would take us quite a few hours to get back to Philadelphia. The thought of being back there reminded me of Braveheart, Maria, Jay and all the others there. It would be really nice to see them again! I guess being back wasn't such a bad thing after all.
As our flight took off, I closed my eyes and just thought about every single moment of this amazing trip. I came up with an idea. When I got home, I'd make Claire, Rae and Aiden a thank you card each. I'd post one to Liam too. He was actually really cool once you got to know him.
I thought about my birthday. It had been the best day ever. I had never had a birthday that awesome! Spain was a really awesome place! I was so glad Claire had brought me along – now I had really great memories to carry for the rest of my life.
