Izak and me scuttled into the dormitories. I followed him into the main room, where Cai had been, but he walked into a wall. Startled, I fell backwards. Izak ran out of the wall to see what was the matter. "You walked through a wall" I said abruptly but dazily. He looked at me with a questioning glance. He then walked back through the wall. He came out and I went in to the ACTUAL door and he was baack in the main room looking at me strangely. I then noticed he wasn't looking at me, but he was looking at a "wall". I came out and told him I saw him staring at me through the wall. Being thoroughly confused, we waited for someone who knew what they were doing. A girl finally came, and walked directly into the door I can see. I followed her in and cornered her. She said that, to keep the dormitories separate, the door is invisible to the other gender. She finally broke down as the air temperature seemed to drop. I saw on her face as she realized it and her face scrunched. The temperature rose to normal but her face showed tiredness. She quickly scuttled away as her face broke into a cold sweat. I told Izak and a face of amazement and interest passed over his face. We walked into the room as the day caught up with me. My eyes closed calmly as a face of contentment presented itself.

I woke up with a bounce in my step. A girl stopped me, asking if I knew where breakfast was. "No, but I have to wait for my friend" I said curtly, trying not to show my displeasure at having to wait. She just smiled and sat down the light around seemed so bright, she looked like an angel. I burst out laughing at seeing this beautiful sight and then turning around to see Cai and Izak walking in sleepingly, their hair a horrible mess. She looked at me questioningly, obviously curious why I was friends with people that couldn't even brush their hair. We marched down to the cafeteria, the boys making the loudest noises in the hall. I was so hungry, but we had to go to our table. We headed for the unknown table when we were stopped by a women in a daisy-colored dress. She grabbed me and Izak and dragged us to different tables saying that we need to meet new people. The whole time during breakfast we were making signs to each other. After we were done, the lady in the daisy dress pulled us along holding pieces of paper in her hands. She told us we needed to start Elementiá Classes. She directed us to our first class- thankfully together. As I walked in the subject became immediatly apparent. Whoever the teacher was, they loved history. Old books and ancient structures portrayed the room.

The teacher seemed to float in, but the action of awe was covered by the large textbook appearing on our desks. She gruffly told us to read chapter 17 tonight. I saw disappointment on Cai's face, but overwhelming joy on Izak's face. Before too long, the teacher handed us a worksheet that seemed mundane and useless. A true torture the occur; listening to her TALK. It felt like fingernails on a chalkboard. I almost didn't make through the class. As it is, I think I lost all hearing. To make matters worse, she gave us another homework assignment.
Thankfully, the way this school worked, her 3 hour lecture was the only class of the day.
When we came back to the dormitories a girl stood there demanding everyone else to do her work. "Don't cross Lily!" Said a girl scurrying away from us. She turned and smiled at us. I walked up to her as Cai and Izak hunkered down. She simply said "Hello new handmaiden" as my small temper immediately sparked. A small stream of water came curling out of the bathroom, but small enough only I noticed it. Her face got increasingly irritated as I disobeyed order after order from her. After 15 minutes she looked down. A large puddle had gathered under her feet without her notice. The water quickly sprang up and started to choke her as it forced its way down her throat. I felt myself hit the ground as we both fell. A nurse ran into the room and grabbed her. I fell asleep slowly and painfully.
I opened my eyes as the dinner bell rang in my ears. My vision was still blurry and I was shaking uncontrollably. I tried to get up but then Cai seemingly appeared and pushed me back. My vision slowly came back into focus. Cai then explained to me why I had passed out. When we use our elements, we use our own body's energy to do so. I eventually fell back asleep after the nurse brought in a meal.
I watched for Izak or Cai as I stuffed down the stale bread and chicken broth. I sat there for hours, wandering when I was going to be discharged. Moans and groans came from other beds, but I couldn't see them through the dense white curtain. I took to watching the intricate design when I felt a bead of dread roll down my throat. A strong hand pulled me back and I tried using my spring of power. I looked at him, waiting for it to happen, but it never did. A sting made my body numb and I was carried away, unable to move myself.
I was finally put down in a cell like room. I slowly gained control of my limbs. I stood up shakily, still not completely ready. I walked to the cell window, which was covered in bars. I could only see a soft light. I started screaming for help when a gruff voice started to say "Quiet down or your head will be on a pike". When I tried to use my power, the same blocking feeling showed up so I went to sleep on the hard floor.
