"So how did you guys discover your powers?" Merlin was proving relentless with his questions. Thankfully he backed down when he saw us wince. We still did not know each others stories, but we were still pretty sore from it. Maybe once we had a home. Speaking of which..."Do You guys have any idea of a good place? We have been walking for hours and you still will not tell me where we are going.", where they replied with a shrug. I was just giving up and sitting down when they stopped. "Here" Isaak said, giving the reason for the stop. It was really secluded but also had a lot of room.

"We are going to rest up and work on the house tomorrow, but first it's dinner time!" Izak implored. We began to sat down when we realized that Lily wasn't there to grow food. Merlin just stood there, wondering who was supposed to be getting it. I began getting up, looking for a nearby stream. It would be good to have one if not... I quickly found a stream, just a little bit from camp. I began to force the stream to me, still weak from inexperience. Even with that slight shift, two fish wandered into my hands. We are going to have a good dinner tonight.

We I made it back the boys were sitting around a campfire. A pile of wood sat near them, along with a homemade axe made from some stones melded together and a stick. Sweat dotted Cai's eyebrow, him caked in woodchips. He sat on a stump. "Great job getting food idiots" I teased them. I sat the fish on the fire, watching it carefully.

I looked over at Izak, Cai, and Merlin, smiling. All it takes to bring people together is good food. We finished eating and curled up and went to sleep. The cold was settling in, but thankfully it was still fairly warm out.

I woke up and looked over at Izak. My heart twinged, but I reminded myself he had a point. Maybe sometime. Hopefully. Ughh...My love life will never be the same will it?

I sat up, spreading the rest of the smoked fish between us. We are going to have do so much extra work without Lily. At least we have powers. Cai woke up first, rolling over onto a mushroom. At least I didn't have to wake him up. I walked over to Izak and rolled him over. He woke up a minute before his face hit the dirt. I screamed as he caught fire. Maybe I should let him sleep in? I did the same to Merlin, but nothing happened. At least his power wasn't strong enough to hurt me, although his constant talking could.

Izak began to give jobs to us as we ate. "Merlin, why don't you work on organizing the supports? Maybe work on some other things too, like gathering food. Cai, could you cut up more tree? We will need a lot of wood so try to get at least a couple of trees by noon. Kaiti, can you bring the trees by flooding it towards us? I should work if you can control it?" Izak continued on as I though about how I wasn't sure if I could do that. Since I was made when I flooded our school, I could just get mad at the trees? Maybe?

I sat down to try to think. I didn't have any trees yet and I needed to save my energy. I saw Merlin taking some fairly large rocks and carrying them over to where we were supposed to set up the supports. Thinking of something to do, I grabbed some plants and started to gut them. An idea began to form in my mind. All I can say is that I do not liked to be bored.

Before long, my stomach growled. I looked up, my project almost done. I grabbed some smoked fish and started to see if I could mix the dish up some. I found some wild asparagus, which is only a little skinnier than grocery variety. At least there was a lot of it. I lightly browned them over the fire, Cai relight it before he had gone. I then threw some asparagus on and wished we had plates. Random leaves did not cut it. I hid my project, feeling its silkiness under my fingers. Then, I called the boys over. They came one by one and was surprised to see asparagus. When Izak came back I was glad I did not have to find him again. The thought made my face blush.

"Soups on!" I shout, faking to hold a soup spoon. A smile flickered to Merlin's face, but Cai and Izak had been working to hard to even smile. They shoveled in food as I asked Izak was he was doing. "As I told you, I am gathering rocks and such that we would need." exasperated Izak. Isak's eyes went over me for the first time since, and I saw his face blush. Maybe my love life wasn't so hopeless after all.

I walked down, my body filling with dread. When I got to the last downed tree I could hear a stream nearby. At least I had that going for me. I thought as hard as I could, focusing only on that. The gurgle of water filled my ears. My skin felt hot, prickles covering it. It felt good and painful. Maybe I could get used to this feeling. I lifted my arms and... nothing happened. Izak looked at me quizzically. I lowered my hand, preparing to do it again. I tried again, but the moment was fleeting. Why couldn't I summon it? I had done it before. I went through my memory, trying desperately to put them together. I was thinking and about to tell them I give up when I realized... I was always is a stressful situation when I had used it. Emotion are the key. Seemed like movie logic but, if it works it works. I rose my hand, imagining Cai and Izak in trouble and i quiet expecting nothing. As I turned around to tell Izak I had failed, a wall of water carried the trees uphill.
