I watched Cai and the new guy leave, an irritated look on my face. Aloe looked at me concerningly, but glanced away when I looked back. I went back to cooking dinner when Anna came out.

"What did you see?" She sat down, her bags accentuated by my question.

"I saw a stone, glowing green. It was in a dark place, and a pile of ashes next to it. I think we need that stone." As soon as she said a stone that was growing green I vaguely remembered something like that.

"I know where that is" She looked surprised, but then started coughing. I helped her up, and got her back to her bed. When I was walking back a dark shape moved away from me. Tossing it to my imagination, I went back to the center. The sun was still high in the sky so I started to go out and catch some food other than fish. Another dark object moved outside my vision, but it was soon gone when I lit myself on fire.

I started heating it up, allowing the flames to send my up. I was lifted another foot off the ground. I continued to try as I hunted, but never reached the same flying ability as when Cai was falling. A deer crossed in my path and I aimed a fireball at it. It seared off the head, leaving a partially cooked body. I picked it up and carried it home, a little more worried on the ground.

"Nice deer. I'll bring the vegetables and fruits out when their done. Can you start cooking it outside?" I cooked it over the fire and Lily came out with the vegetables.

"Do you know where Cai is?" I looked up curious, but continued prepping the meal.

"No, shouldn't he be in his room?" I got up and looked for him in his room, but found nothing. Kaiti and Merlin came in, while Anna took care of Oliver.

"Cai left. He disappeared. Poof. You know where he is?" They nodded no. We left, worried about him and what he could do with our position. Miles passed by, but Anna looked suspicious.

"What do you know about Cai going missing? We need to find him."

"I had vision about green rock. Last Time I saw him." Her accent annoying the grammar in me, but I recognized a green rock. We had found it somewhere, obviously when we were together so I asked Kaiti.

"I know what you're talking about, but I don't remember. Wasn't Aloe with us at the time? I think so..." I left her lost in her memories and talked with Aloe. The moment he said it, I realized where I remembered it from. It's the stone we used to defeat the Wilzaraq. I knew the beast was slain, so I decided he could manage his own. Definitely going to question him about it later. We ate and went around doing tasks, mine to furnish some actual furniture.

I woke to find Cai sneaking into the tree.

"Did you get the stone?" A look of dread crossed his eye, but then he fished it out of his pocket. He rushed away and I knew he was hiding something, but I left it. Maybe if I give him some trust he won't break it again. Up for the day, I got up and got up to eat.

I hoped for another peaceful meal, but nope. A girl showed up before I even started cooking the vegetables. The girl jumped me, sneaking up behind me. Her hand was placed on my chest, white mist shrouding it.

"Give me food and I won't hurt you." Her eyes shone a brilliant blue, but the whites of her eyes were more apparent. The whites were crystal white, and no lines of red broke it. Her skin was pale, and her hair was also a brilliant white.

"We can feed you, just get off of me." Her eyes squinted in surprise, and she looked around herself.

"Who's this we? I count only one, and if there are more I doubt they will be awake."

"So you got me, their asleep. Still means nothing."

"One strike you're out" The mist started expanding, covering me in everyplace.

"Why can't I freeze you? I can freeze anything."

"Except a fire elemental apparently." I flared myself up and she jumped off, steam coming off where her hand was.

"You are an elemental too? Are there others?"

"Yea, several right over there" I pointed over at the tree "You want to join us? We are trying to free more of us, the ones captured by the government." She looked excited, but more likely more for the food rather than more of us. I cooked the vegetables really quickly and brought her in with me. Aloe was leaving as I passed by, leaving for his early job. I sat the cooked vegetables and told her to dig in. I went around to wake up Kaiti, as I have everyday since we came here. I was the only one she wouldn't splash when she woke up. When she came out she immediately started talking with her. I sat down and listened and got the gist of her story. Her name is Aubrey, and she discovered her powers when she was twelve. Her parents sent her to an orphanage, scared of what she could do. Soon she left when people found out and started treating her horribly about a week ago. She left her hometown of Lekton, where Aloe works.

"We need to start planning" Their conversation immediately stopped.

"What we need is to relax. We can't win with what we have, and we need to scout everything out first. We can't rush into this, Izak. Why are you so pushy lately?" I wiped her spit off my face, her tantrum finally over. Her face showed guilt, but my heart still wanted revenge.

"Is that what you think? That I'm pushy? We're done. Leave me alone. Fight this yourself, see if you can win then. I'm out." She shriveled into a standing fetal position, but I continued to rant. I finished when my lungs felt like they were going to give. I left as soon as I was done, grabbing what little I could. I knew I would regret it later, but at the moment I had to leave. I had to escape. I looked behind me one last time and saw everyone staring at me. I shot a blast of flame at them and disappeared in the noon heat.
