"Kaiti!". What are you doing here? Asked kaiti when we started climbing the tree. Lily started to grow a tree underneath her. I started to climb the tree, but my hands sparked. "What is going on?" I jumped back. My hands refused to go back to normal. Lily rolled her eyes and said "You don't have much control over your power because you haven't trained it, making it respond to extreme emotions, like knowing your friend is okay.". Just then Kaiti burst into words " Where is Cai? Is he okay?" and I felt a flutter in my stomach, kind of a cold dread. I realized it was a bit more, so I put it away. I snapped out of my mind-induced state to notice her crying and Lily comforting her. She started to shiver and I noticed it was getting dark out. I had Lily take the tree that she grew and put it in a circle. I then took my hand, whirling my hand , sparks shooting everywhere. Eventually the wood caught fire. We let all the stress roll off our backs, forgetting our troubles. It felt so good to finally...let go of our troubles. We laid down on the soft grass, using leaf piles as pillows.
We woke up with a start as a voice called for help. It seemed so familiar, yet scraggly. We ran to help it as much as possible. We stumbled back on the entrance to the cave. The voice was coming from inside it. We worked on removing some big boulders, and eventually made it back through. The voice suddenly stopped and we ran faster. We began to slip and slide on a bloody floor. We stayed to the side but the blood flowed everywhere. Whoever's blood this is, they did not have long. We began to go quicker, hitting more jagged rocks then would have been preferable but we need to save that guy. We turned a corner and found a cave.
We stopped at the entrance to the more like cavern as it seemed so big. Whimpering sounds came from a crumpled pile of rags about ten feet from us. We ran over and lifted the blanket off. Izak laid there shivering, covered in blood that seemed to be his own. Lily bent down to heal him with herbal plants, but he was not the guy who bled. He was not bleeding fast enough to be the guy. I looked over on some stone stairs and some a blood trail. I motioned for everyone else to come with me as we climbed the steps. As we got closer to the top, grunting sound grew louder and louder. We found the monster chewing on a person. The monster did not notice us yet, but whimpering from the person grew softer and softer. Blood sprayed the walls, making it a cave of red. I made a ball of electricity, while Kaiti and Mackenzie readied for battle. We attacked it full might, but it barely flinched. It then saw us and started to chase us. We went bend after bend, until we reached a dead end. The monster cornered us. We slowly backed towards the wall, until we reached it. The monster crawled towards us. My hand brushed a large stone and I grabbed it When I came out of its spot, the spot began to glow. I threw the stone, and the green glow grew brighter. The monster took the hit, but backed away as the glow reached it. I realized what was happening and looked at the source. A glowing green rock was the center. I tried to grab it, but it was to slippery for me to grab. Kaiti grabbed it and somehow kept traction. She pulled it out almost easily with her traction. She then started to chase the monster with it. It ran, until we reached the cavern with Lily and Izak.
As the monster came in, Lily picked up and Izak and went into the corner, her eyes filled with fear. She also had the "chewtoy" guy we saved, but it looked like he would not make it. Kaiti asked me the question whether we should hit it with the stone or put it in some dangerous position by cornering it. The monster took the moment to pounce on Lily. Without thinking, I grabbed the stone from Kaiti and threw it at the monster. It hit the monster right on the head, and the monster started to glow green. The monster was sucked into the green stone, which its glow had faded. I ran over to Lily, and as I asked to if she was okay, the mystery guy regained consiousness. The guy seemed out of it, but his wounds seemed to heal faster, and then it was growing back before our eyes. The guy opened his eyes, brilliant blue ones that seemed to see the soul. He sat up and looked at Izak, in which he crawled over to. He began to place his hand on Izak and I tackled him. I was not going to let this guy do whatever he was going to do until I knew him. The guy sat back up, barely looking phased. I stood back up, blocking his path to Izak. He said"Please, I met him, and my element is of health. I can save him!" I know I should not trust him, but the way he said it made me move aside. I winced as he placed his hand on Izak, until I saw Izak's wounds heal, skin regrowing at ridiculous speeds. Izak looked much better, but still he did not wake up. When I looked at the guy angrily he just said "I can heal, not awaken, he is probably tired because my element uses the person it is healing's energy." I then picked Izak up, and grew angry as Kaiti buzzed around me, making sure Izak was alright. The guy was very open on his way out with us, saying how his name was Aloe, or rather his nickname because the first wound he healed was a sunburn. We left the cave, relief flooding over me to be out of that wretched place. We sat down at the fire and Lily, instead of sitting with us like usual, sat with Aloe, who had excluded himself from the group.
