After we spoke with Greg and his men about training schedules and a plan for the battle against Fenris, his pack, and the vampires, Greg pulled out the treaty. I remember staring at it, not really comprehending how quickly they were able to write this thing up. And it's legal too. As long as our pack doesn't harm any humans and the hunters don't attack us, then the alliance will hold. It also states that we will remain that way for all time...again, as long as everyone stays in accordance to the terms. Honestly, all those words made my head spin a little but Derreck didn't bat an eye as he read it over and signed on the dotted line. The contract required the signature of both Alpha and Luna, and Gregory and Stanton's. To say they were thorough would be an understatement.

Of course, Derreck had a condition of his own...which only confused me even more.

Which is probably why I'm standing in front of my closet in the loft, completely at a loss as to what I'm going to wear. What does one wear to a party that both wolves and hunters will attend? Yeah, you guessed it...Derreck wanted all the hunters to join our pack in a celebration for signing the treaty. We decided to keep it 'casual' but what is casual in regards to celebrating this kind of thing?

The door creaks open and the sound of the floor whining softly under someone's weight resounds throughout the room. "You're overthinking things."

I glance up at Derreck as he comes to stand next to me.
