So, I felt bad not adding Mel to the list of people to make one of these for in the last chapter - because she is in fact the most important member of our cast. She's the one who brought us Jase and I feel we should get to know her a little better. Anyways, here she is...

She's always been our rock throughout the show, basically everyone's surrogate mother in the wolf pack - even those who have mothers. When she was in high school she met the man who would become her husband and give her Jasynn. The two went through several years of being best friends, watching as they both went through terrible breakups and ridiculous moments - like him breaking his arm in a failed attempt to push her on the swings to help her feel better or the trip to the hospital when she convinced him it would be okay to ride the bull at that rodeo they went to. They got married on the beach in a beautiful ceremony and had their honeymoon in Paris, even took a pit stop through Greece because she wanted to see the Parthenon. Four years later she found out she was pregnant and the two couldn't be happier. Seven years later he found out he had cancer. He successfully went through three different treatments of different forms of cancer before a brain tumor formed and took his life four years later. Jasynn was twelve years old when they lost his father and Mel has not looked at anyone the same way as she looked at Jimmy. She's had the love of her life and feels no need to find another man, although if one were to come along she'd be open to it.
