I felt someone handing my body over, I slowly opened my eyes and saw a nurse in front of me. Where was I? Where is Link! I need Link! The nurse looked down at me, she kept running down the white, clean hallways.
" Cassidy, look at me. What ever you do, don't close your eyes! "
I kept my eyes focused on her face, I flapped my wings in fear. Feeling the air rush by us made me shiver. My body felt frozen and stiff, and the one thing I wanted to do was close my eyes and just fall back. But I didn't, I kept them open. I was quickly thrown onto a bed and the nurse and three other doctors and nurses started rushing down the hallway again.
My wings spread out a little, making my stay still more comfortably. I looked up at the roof, focusing on the lights running by. Every time I saw a lamp rushing by, the air around me got thinner. Every breath felt like toxic gas filling my lungs up.
" Cassidy?! Cassidy?! Keep your eyes open. "
I did all I could to keep them open, but soon... they closed and I couldn't for the life of me open them again...
