Chapter 29- Problems✨

Theo's eyes widen in suprise, "i-i" is he actually stuttering? this must be worse then i thought. "well? unless we have a zombie running around, you have explaining to do" i say seriously trying to control my temper.

"what happened to no secrets?" i say hurt. He looks at me his face full of sadness and regret. He opens his mouth to start saying something but i cut him off,

"and dont just say you were going to tell me because you clearly weren't." i say sadly. he sighs and sits back rubbing his eyes. "i was going too." he mumbles dropping his hands on to his lap. i take a good look at him he has bags underneath his eyes and he looks tired. i just want to run up and hug him. I bite my lip and look down.

"to be completely honest with you I wasn't sure if he was still alive" he starts, leaning forward.

"All i know is that his body was gone when the clean up crew came to take him away" he sighs, he stands up and walks around the desk and walking in front of me. How is Brooke going to react when she finds out? Is Max going to come back for her? "Skye" Theo says lifting up my chin.

"you're safe I promise" he finishes saying stroking my cheek. does that mean Brooke as well? God i hope so. "We don't know if he wants Brooke or not" Theo says looking away from me. Even if we does want her he's not getting her anytime soon.

"we as in.....?" i reply

"Me, Jacob, Mason and Alec" he says looking at me again, so not Charlotte, interesting.

"what about Charlotte?" i ask after a few moments silence.

"what about her?" he asks taking his hand off my face. i bite my lip and look down again the warmth from when he was touching my face disappearing.

Come on Skye be brave.

"the blonde whose probably slept with every guy in here, who also pulls up her skirt shorter every time she sees you, also the bitch you cheated on me with" i say whispering the last part apparently not quite enough as Theo snorted and abruptly pushes himself off the desk.

"is that what his is about?" Theo says suddenly angry. What the fuck did i do?

"Well she's part of the reason i came down here" i mumble still puzzled with Theo's sudden anger.

"goddammit skye! im busy for fuck sake and you come and bother me with your insecurities?" he shouts shocking me abit.

the fuck did that come from? i feel my cheeks flush with anger and i stand up pissed.

"No! if you just listened for once without accusing me for a minute!" I shout back. How things change so quickly it amazes me.
