Chapter 28 - Evidence✨

*back at the gang house*

"The house was huge!" I squeal to Brooke and Sam.
"But you guys knew already!" I add whining.
"Maybe." Sam and Brooke say at the same time. How comes they didn't tell me?

"it was a surprise duh!" Brooke says reading my expression.

"well it was the best surprise ever!" i squeal again. Should i start packing my stuff? When will we buy clothes for the baby? Shes going to love her room!

"earth to skye!" Sam shouts snapping her pale fingers in my face.

"what?" i grumble looking at her,

"you went into your own world again" she giggles. my cheeks darken, i've always had a wild imagination and Brooke is used to it by now.

"She has her own world that she loves to escape to." Brooke comments picking at her nails, i laugh and stand up from the bed we were all sitting on.

"Any update on the Charlotte case?" i ask them, i got them to take keep an eye on her as I need evidence before I go to Theo.

"no I'm afraid not" Brooke says sadly.

"i have something" Sam says jumping up. I turn my head and look at her expectingly she clears her throat,

"Well, she's been hanging out with Theo alot lately. She's also trying to get close to Jacob..." Brooke gasps and jumps up joining us. "...but don't worry he hates her, i think they had something in the past. But that's just a guess!" she says saying the last part quickly.

Theo has been hanging out with her again? he can't be cheating again can he? No Skye what are you saying! of course he isn't. He loves you! i say to myself.

"She's also been making alot of phone calls" Sam finishes sitting back down we all follow her and look at each other worried.

"i had to gather my evidence before i said it too you guys" Sam says looking down. i manage to cross my legs and we form a circle.

"Sam its fine thanks for telling us." i say smiling at her.

she smiles back and turn serious again, "are we going to tell Theo?" Sam asks after a minute silence. I think for a minute. Do we have enough evidence? is he going to believe me? i rub my baby bump, of course he will.

"yes we are" i answer uncrossing my legs and standing up.

"come on" i add walking towards the door, we are in Sams room so it takes further to get there. i grab the door handle and open the door looking behind me to see Sam and Brooke standing behind me.

"do you think he'll believe us?" Sam asked no one in particular.

"sure he will" Brooke answers after my silence.

"but... what if he doesn't" Sam replies with her anxiety getting the best of her. i stop and turn to her placing both of my hands gently on her shoulders,

"he isn't going to hurt you Sam" i start

"i promise" i finish dropping my hands to the side and turning back around. We carry on walking in a comfortable silence. We walk down one of the many corridors until we her high heel footsteps coming from in front of us.

Now i can sense 6 inch heels with that walking pattern anywhere.
"it's bitchface!" i whisper yell. Bitchface is a name we came up with to call Charlotte. We dive into the nearest door closing it behind us.
"did she come from Theo's office?" i whisper to them. Brooke and Sam give me a sad look.

"i don't know Skye" Brooke answers honestly. i sigh and open the door slightly popping my head out. i see 'bitchface' on the phone walking around the corner. i suck my head back into the room and put my finger to my mouth telling Brooke and Sam to be quite. i never did get my phone back.

"no i havent yet....................what?........... sorry Max... i mean sir" Charlotte says as she walks past the room were in. Max??? Brooke grabs my arm in alarm. It can't be that Max right? Theo killed him? Knowing the coast is clear i turn and face Brooke saying "It can't be him, Theo shot him" i breath trying to relax myself at the same time.

"you too go back to the room, I'm going to talk to Theo." i say walking out of the room. I walk as fast as i can to Theo's office accidentally bumping into people on the way. I stop at his door and knock on it. "Come in" Theo calls from the otherside of the door, I open the door and walk in closing it behind me.

"Hey Skye" Theo says looking up at me. i glare at him and pull out a chair opposite him, i slump down in the chair still glaring at him.

"what did i do" Theo says with his hands up in defence probably thinking it is one of my mood swings, i fold my arms over my chest and sit back.

"one word... Max"
