Chapter 8- I think I’m falling for you<3

[Joey P.O.V]

Right as I’m about to tell Shane, I hear somebody walking up the stairs. We let go of each-others hands.

“Shaaane?” his mom calls as she goes towards the door.

“Yeah, mom?” he asks.

Her head pops through the door and she smiles at us and sees that we were filming.

“Oh, I’m sorry, were you guys still filming?”

“No… we just finished,” I say.

“Oh okay! We’ll I’m heading to the food market for some stuff, do you need anything?” she asks Shane.

“Nope.”

“Okay I’ll see you in an hour.”

She walks down the stairs and I hear the doors barking.

“This sucks,” Shane tells me.

“What?”

“The fact that I’m here… The fact that she cheated on me with some guy I don’t even know and just thinks I can forgive that.”

Oh Shane…. you know the guy….

I freeze. He can see that.

“Is there something you’re not telling me…?” he asks.

My phone rings. It’s Luke!

Oh crap.

“Uh, hello?”

“JOEY! Oh MY GOSH JOEY! LISA JUST CALLED ME AND SAID SHE WANTS TO GO OUT WITH ME BECAUSE APPARENTLY SHE’S ON BREAK WITH SHANE AND WANTS TO KISS ME AGAIN BECAUSE SHE LIKED IT BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! HELP!”

Oh no…

Luke why here? Why now?!

“Shane, I’m…”

He runs down the stairs and into his car.

I chase after him.

[Shane P.O.V]

I can’t believe it!!! Now my own best friend is hiding secrets from me. He knew that Luke was behind this plan! That Luke kissed Lisa and he never told me! I lock myself in my car and cry. Cry my eyes out. Joey was the one person I trusted and he hides a huge secret like that from me!

I see Joey run towards my car door.

“Shane please open up so I can explain! Please Shane!”

I turn away so I can’t see him. I don’t want to talk to anyone. How could Luke do that to me. How could Joey know and not tell me. I thought we were together on this… But apparently not.

“Shane please! I need to explain this to you!”

[Joey P.O.V]

I had no idea that this would hurt him. He probably thought that Luke wanted to kiss her… But he didn’t! Lisa did! This was so messed up! He needs to unlock his door so I can explain this to him.
