[Joey P.O.V]

Hey!

It was from an unknown number…

Joey: Hi… who’s this?

It’s Mike!

Joey: How’d you get my number?

Mike: Tyler’s phone.

Joey: Oh okay…

This was awkward! Why was he texting me?!

The next text I got made me freak out.

A lot…

Mike: Come over.

Joey: Um…no thanks…I’m going to sleep now.

Mike: Why do you hate me?

Joey: What are you talking about?

Mike: You aren’t letting me flirt with you?

Joey: YOU HAVE TYLER!

Mike: Ok and…?

Joey: I’m going to sleep. Night…

I ran to bed, not wanting to see what else this crazy guy had to say. I can’t believe I thought he was nice… I went under the covers and held onto Shane tight.

“I love you Shane.”

His eyes open.

“I love you more Joey.”

“Shane…never let me go.”

“Joey trust me, if I could stay here forever I would. But what would I tell my viewers…Oh hey guys sorry I can’t vlog because I decided to stay in bed with Joey forever?”

I start to laugh. He always made me feel better. But I could not tell him about Mike. He’d go nuts and right now I felt safe. In his arms.

My eyes open at 10:14 a.m. I look to my left and see Shane was not there.

I reach for my phone. Right as I am about to turn it on, I remember the conversation last night. I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to talk to him.

But of course I do. I open my messages and see something I would never forget.

[Shane P.O.V]

Sawyer and I were laughing over the new Miranda sings video.

“Oh my f**king gosh she’s the best!” Sawyer says laughing.

“I know! She’s a genius!”

I look at the clock. It’s 10:24a.m.

“I’m going to go check on Joey.” I say.

I walk up the stairs and hear him…crying?

“Joey?!”

I walk into his room and he’s sitting on the floor with his hands over his eyes and his phone right next to him.
