Chapter 10- Want you back

Chapter 10 – Want you back.

[Shane P.O.V]

“I promise.”

“Me too.”

“She raped me.”

WHAT??????????

Joey’s eyes widen and his mouth drops.

I just stand there. Still. What the f**k…

“I’m so sorry Luke…” I say.

Just as I say that, Sawyer and Lisa open the door.

“Luke! Joey! Shane!” Sawyer says.

Lisa is standing there, shocked. I stand next to Joey. This was not happening. I was having a nightmare right? This was so messed up. Why would she do that? What the hell?

“Can we all talk this out?” Sawyer says.

Luke walks over to Joey and I. We all look at each other.

“I sh-should go…” Lisa says.

Yes bitch you should. How could you do this to Luke?

“Please leave.” I say.

“NO!”

We all look over to Sawyer.

“Look, this is ridiculous! I’m not going to watch you y’all fight! Lisa needs to explain to you guys what she just told me. Nobody is leaving this room until we all talk this through!” Sawyer says yelling.

“Fine.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

 Sawyer turns to us and says,“Good! You guys are my best friends in the entire world and I do not want you guys getting hurt.”

We all sit down at the large circular table. The tension was intense. So intense. I could feel the room vibrating. Or maybe it was me, shaking. I was scared. More scared than when Joey and I watched that movie because, this was real. This whole f**ked up situation.

“Lisa was -“

“I want to hear it from her!” Luke says. I nod and so does Joey. If she wasn’t going to talk than I sure as hell was not going to stay here.

“I can’t-”

“YOU CAN’T WHAT? YOU CAN’T EXPLAIN WHY YOU RAPED ONE OF MY GOOD FRIENDS! WOW LISA YOU REALLY ARE A BITCH” I scream at her.

She starts to cry. Everyone in the room was silent. Maybe I was harsh but this sure as hell wasn’t a time for me to be calm.

“Lisa come on… Tell your side of the story…” Sawyer says patting her back.

[Lisa P.O.V]

Why does he hate me? Why can’t he just let me say what I need to say before he calls me a bitch.

“I’ve been drinking, a lot.” I look at down at the ground. “And I’ve done a lot of stupid, shit, over the past few days. But that doesn’t mean I’m not trying it’s just...” I look at Shane. “I need you back. I need you.”

I start to cry again.

“I said two weeks…”

“I know, I know. But ever since you left-”

“I was kicked out.” He says.

“Whatever. I’ve been a mess. I need you back.”

“No Lisa.” He looks over at Joey. What the f**k…? I knew that jerk was a part of this.

“WHY ? HAVE YOU MOVED ON? LET ME GUESS JOEY SET YOU UP WITH SOMEONE HUH? HAVE YOU FOUND SOMEONE SO MUCH FREAKING BETTER THAN ME ALREADY?” I yell.

Everyone looks at Shane. His face lights up bright red.

“It’s been two days...” I say calmly. “You really gave up on me that quickly. Everything we’ve had. Everything we’ve shared. Corny, our apartment… Shane you can’t pretend you’ve never loved me. You can’t pretend that you’ve never thought about marrying me…”

His phone goes off.

“I-I gotta take this…” Shane says.

“Answer it now. If it’s your new girlfriend tell her I say, F**K YOU!” I say.

“LISA! Stop!” Sawyer says.

He answers.

“Hey, okay I’m coming over in 30 minutes…I love you too bye.” He says.

“WHAT’S HER NAME? HUH?” I say.

“It was my MOM!”

“Oh.”

[Luke P.O.V]

I’ve had enough. There fighting was unbearable. Horrible.

I look at Lisa and ask, “Can you please explain your side of the story. I’ve had enough already!”

She took a deep breath and wiped her tears

“I drank too much last night. I’m sorry Luke… I really am. It was not right that I did what I did. I really do apologize and mean it a hundred percent.”

I look into her eyes. She was telling the truth. She didn’t mean to hurt me and I knew it. She knew I was not a bad person and would rat her out for her mistake so she picked me as her victim. Like how animals go for the weakest link to hunt. But her being drunk did not help. She had to be forgiven for this whole problem to be resolved.

“I forgive you Lisa. But you need to promise to stay away from me when you’re ever drunk again.”

She smiles. “I promise Luke.” She then turns to Shane.

“I’ve been horrible to you Shane. I really have. I’m sorry. I just need ‘us’. I miss us. I want to be able to call you mine I want to be able to be with you forever. I can’t believe I let you go. If you need the two weeks, I’ll give you them. But please, think about us. Think about what we use to have. Because I need you too. That is all I ask from you.” She takes his hand. He looks at her.

[Shane P.O.V]

After her speech to me she takes my hand.

“Please Shane?” she asks with tears in her eyes.

 I take a deep breath and say, “I’ll call you in two weeks okay?”

She smiles. I get up and look at Joey’s face. He looks as if he was just punched in the face. He looks at me and runs outside.

“See, that’s why they call me Socialist Sawyer, hey Joey?” Saywer says.

I run after him.

“Joey?!”

He looks at me with tears rolling down his face. I pull him into a hug but he lightly pushes me away. What?

“Shane… I can’t do this…”
