Shane is recording right now.

Our video.

Our coming. OUT. VIDEO.

I felt like I was being suffocated.

I was THAT nervous.

And it’s not that people would know…because people just kind of assumed I was anyway.

But that I knew some people would try and hurt Shane.

Mike being one of them.

Honestly it would just be so reliving to just throw him off a cliff myself.

Even if I had to go to jail for a while.

Shane could not get hurt.

But reality kicked in again and I remember I need to say something in this video…

“And to be honest with you guys…this video is going to take a lot to say but… here it goes…”

“Uh yeah… some of you guys might be…happy? Or not. But that honestly isn’t changing anything.”

I gulp. This was harder than I thought.

I imagined this a hundred times. Me looking in the camera and saying, “I’m gay…”

But it simply wasn’t that easy.

I grab Shane’s hand to show him comfort. I knew he was nervous. So I went for it.

“Over the past few weeks… a lot has been going on. A lot that we haven’t filled you guys in with.”

Shane decides to step in once again, “Yes. And I know this video will be insane and confusing…but to start things off…Lisa and I are no longer together. Now I know you guys will be upset with this information but it’s true. It had been a pretty rough few months together and I knew it was for the best.”

“-And.”

“-And don’t blame Joey for it…I know a lot of Shisa shippers don’t like Joey but honestly it wasn’t anyone’s fault…some people just don’t work out.”

“Yes…”

“And the big announcement…you could probably tell from the title…”

“Shane and I…”

‘Are gay.”

“Yeah…” I make a weird face and I look at Shane. We both start smiling and instantly I knew this was a smart idea. No more secrets. No more hiding. We were free. This was a good thing.

“Also…I know this video will be getting a lot of hate and maybe even love…but this was both our decisions. So don’t blame anyone. You really can’t blame two people for falling in love.”

“Wait…so are Shoey shippers still breathing?”

“Hmmm…good question…”

“Question of the DAY!” I say in his voice.

“No. No! That’s my thing Joey! Anyways I love you guys and please…don’t go insane in the comments…”

“Okay but do a real question of the day!”

“Hm…okay. Who is some one that you love?” Shane says.

“Ohhh. Okay yeah! And be sure to let them know because…you never know what could happen.”
