Chapter 15- Confessions
[Joey P.O.V]
“Okay…wait Shane!”
“What?! Joey we need to go there! We need to figure out what she’s doing…”
“I know… but-…All Lisa wants is to get back together with you…and honestly… I don’t think she’s planning on stopping anytime soon…”
“So what? We shouldn’t go?...”
“No…I mean we should go I’m just warning you… that she’s just going to say she wants you back.”
“I know that… I mean who else would she be saying by, getting the one I love back…But honestly Joey it’s not going to change the fact that I’m in love with you.”
I smile. Like a big geek. But it seriously made me feel good every time he said that.
I tear slid down my face. He really had touched my heart by saying that.
“Shane…you’re making me…cry.” I say laughing.
“Maybe I shouldn’t be soft anymore.”
“No… I love it.”
“Okay…let’s go fix this!”
We arrive at Shane’s old apartment about 15 minutes later.
“Shane…what are we going to say?”
“I got this. Don’t worry babe.”
“Okay…” I hold onto his hand tight.
“Don’t be scared. It’s just Lisa…”
“That’s what freaks me out. That she’d go this far to get you back.”
We walk to the front door and Shane opens the door with his key. I guess he forgot to give it back to her.
“Lisa?!” Shane yells.
“Yes?”
She comes to the front door walking from the computer room.
“We need to talk…”
“Didn’t we have a deal? Two weeks Shane...That’s what you wanted.”
“No…I know. But I don’t need anymore time.”
“What do you mean…? Lisa says.
I was thinking the same…
“Joey…can you go to the car. I’ll be right back.”
“Um.... okay?”
I walk outside into Satsuki.
Why did I have to go into the car?
Did he not want me to see….him getting back together with her…?
No…He just told me he loved me.
He was my best friend…He would NEVER hurt me like that…
Right?!
[Shane P.O.V]
I had to fix this.
I knew I did.
Joey being here wouldn’t help.
It would make things worse.
I knew exactly what I had to do.
“Lisa…come here.” I walk over to the couch and sit down.
