Chapter 22- Because of You.

A/N: I hate to write this...but...school starts tomorrow;( which means a lot of homework and stuff like that...So the updates will be less but I'm still going to try my hardest to post. I love writing this and it really helps me with things going on in my life right now to get my ideas out. Thanks for understanding. <3

Chapter 22: Because of You.

[Joey P.O.V]

I felt my heart pounding through my chest. It wasn’t the running that was killing me but the fact that I knew they were in danger. We burst through the door and I see the disaster…

Written in giant letters were the words…

‘FAGGOTS DON’T BELONG HERE!’

Everyone stood there. I walk up to the cabinets were I see a explosion device…which explained why there was glass all around. Shane’s mom was wrapping her arms around Shane. Lisa and the seller were just standing there in shock.

“Who would do such a thing...?” Teresa asks.

“There is only one person I know that would.” I say walking towards the door.

“Joey wait…!”

I turn around and Shane is pulling me back.

“We don’t even know for sure if it was Mike…regardless…what would you even say…?”

I give him a look. Like a ‘how could you not think it was Mike’ look.

“Okay you’re right…but!”

“Look Shane. I have to do this. Only me. Because I’m not putting anyone here in danger…even Lisa.”

“But-”

“Is there anywhere else that you think he would do something to?”

“No just there…I found this note on the front of the paper…when we got back from the hospital that one night…it said something like check the cabinets…but…”

“That was probably him! Lisa said they broke in…”

“Just…please be careful. I’ll meet you back at Sawyer’s...”

“Okay.”

He leans in and gives me a kiss. I smile and walk out through the front door. I walk to my car and turn it on. I check myself in my car mirror and I was shaking.

“Ugh come on Joey! You have to do this. You have to end this…

For Shane.”

I run up to Tyler’s house and knock on his door.

“Hello? Hey Joey! Boy, how have you been?”

I start to tear up a bit.

“Joey…What’s wrong? Do you need me to beat anyone up?”

“No I just…”

Tyler’s cell phone went off and he looks at his screen.

“I’m sorry Joey...I have to take this…”

“It’s alright…”

He walks into his kitchen and I walk around and I see a phone/address book…Hm…

[Shane P.O.V]

I turn around and Lisa was there.
