Dean-
The first time you met John, it was quite nerve wracking. Dean often talked about how committed his father was with his obsession to hunt down his mother's killer. You didn't know what to expect, John didn't sound like a father at all.
At first, it was tense. John questioned you about your knowledge of the supernatural and you resisted the urge to slap him many times. In the end, Dean's father did approve of you.
However, meeting your parents, Dean was probably more nervous than you were when you met John. He kept fidgeting in his seat and tugging at the hems of his sleeves. You had to smile inwardly, it was cute. Your parents adored Dean, they found him very polite and charming. At the end of the night, he was practically part of the family.
Sam-
You knew Sam was trying to keep you from meeting his father. You heard lots of stories regarding how he was barely around and always tough on Sam, he sounded like a jerk to you. You had met Dean many times before, Dean probably being more of a father figure to Sam for most of his life, and you had met Bobby too. But, when it was time to meet John, you were unsure on what to think of him. He approved of you, though it didn't feel like it. It was mostly small talk between you and him, you didn't know much about hunting as you had been newly introduced to it when a demon had come after you in Stanford...
Sam hit it right off with your parents, starting up conversations with the topics your parents loved to drone on and on about. Since your parents didn't know about the supernatural, he was great at casually changing the subject or twisting the truth when it came to what he did for a living and where he grew up.
Castiel-
For a soldier of Heaven, you found it adorable when Cas met your parents. He was absolutely clueless and noticeably nervous. Your parents ate it right up, and helped him calm down by making him feel right at home and starting conversations. It was really quite entertaining to watch him interact with your family and try to keep a straight face while eating dinner. Your parents love him, though, they thought he was charming and delightful to have over.
Cas was upset that he hadn't found God, yet, though he made it up to you by letting you meet some of his brothers and sisters.
Gabriel-
Having Gabriel meet your parents was a topic you tended to tread lightly around, him being an archangel and ex-trickster... But, when he brought the subject up again, you knew you shouldn't refuse. You scheduled a date to return home with Gabriel in tow and waited nervously for that time to arrive. Remarkably, Gabriel had taken an extra step to make himself presentable. Wearing a suit with his hair combed neatly back, he brought an expensive bottle of wine as a gift. He remained polite throughout the night with an occasional joke here and there. Your parents adored him and extended the offer for you two to come back anytime.
Charlie-
Charlie often took you to see her mom. At first, it was embarrassing for her, but you convinced her that she had nothing to be ashamed of, that it wasn't her fault. You would sit next to her and listen to Charlie read, comforting her just by being there. You never got to speak with her mom, but you had a sense that she was a really great person.
Your parents weren't really accepting with your sexuality. They would try to force you to love people that you wouldn't be able to love. When you brought home Charlie, there was some tension. You gave them the notice ahead of time that if they weren't accepting of you, you would keep your distance. Everyone deserves to love who they want to love. Dinner was quite awkward, but you knew your parents were trying hard to communicate and be hospitable. You thought it went well, they quickly warmed up to Charlie.
Lucifer-
If your parents knew you were dating the devil, they would flip. Luckily, Lucifer kept his identity a secret and behaved nicely. He was a polite guest and knew exactly the right thing to say. He didn't seem to mind all the questions your parents were bombarding him with, and answered them as truthfully as he wished. In the end, everything worked out perfectly.
