__Sara Pov__
I still sat in a tree on the edge of the clearing just watching Naruto. I had to admit to myself that he did have one thing, and that was determination. Not a lot of people would do something like look for another way to graduate, much less take a scroll from the leader of your village and spend hours working, gaining, and perfecting a jutsu just for that.
After a while, I grew bored, like anyone else watching him would have and started to nap. Every once in a while I would look back up from my nap, and each time I could see he was getting better.
The hours passed and eventually night fell. I heard voices in the quiet of the night only known to the creatures of the forest and knew they finally discovered that Naruto had taken the scroll. I mean seriously, it took them long enough.
Shortly after that Iruka appeared in the clearing, obviously he had actually thought that through.
"Naruto..." Iruka's voice had a threatening tone, but I sensed disappointment.
"Heheh, you're too late Iruka-sensei, I already learned a technique!"
"What?"
"Now I can graduate right? That's how it works isn't it? I learn a technique from this scroll and I can graduate?"
"Where did you hear that from Naruto?"
"Mizuki-sensei told me."
Suddenly Iruka tensed and I could tell he felt the presence I felt approaching minutes ago. Mizuki was in a tree to my right, and was preparing to throw kunai.
"Look out!" Iruka shoved Naruto to the side as Mizuki launched his attack.
I also threw kunais, blocking half of his to the ground, but some still got Iruka.
"Ah look, if it isn't Sara."
I hopped down into the clearing, there was no point being in the tree anymore if I was discovered.
He then started talking about some pointless crap, but I did hear something that caught my attention.
"It's all your fault Naruto! You killed Iruka's parents! You are the kyuubi!"
That rang bells, but I couldn't remember why. The kyuubi was important for some reason.
Now wasn't the time to think about that though, and I realized that when Mizuki took this huge shuriken off his back and threw it at Naruto. I was too far away. I would never make it in time.
I didn't have to though. Before the weapon hit Naruto, Iruka got in the way and was impaled in the back. He and Naruto talked for a while, but Naruto ran off with Iruka yelling after him. Mizuki laughed for a while before leaping after Naruto who still had that scroll.
I ran to Iruka, assessing the damage that he had probably taken. When I judged it safe I took the shuriken out of his back.
"Are you alright, Iruka-sensei?"
"I'll be fine, I'm going on ahead, find Naruto and then come meet up with me."
"Got it, be safe."
Finding Naruto was pretty easy, though I was surprised I didn't run into Mizuki, who went after Naruto first. After finding him I stayed in the trees, trying to locate Iruka's chakra first. I wouln't have to chase him down though, he was landing in the clearing just ahead of us, with Mizuki
"Naruto, follow me." I commanded jumping down.
"What? Sara?"
"Very good Naruto, you know my name, now follow me."
I led him behind a tree as the two sensei's began talking.
"Naruto is an important student to me."
Naruto then began crying and then steeled himself. He made his handsigns and walked around the tree we were behind. Suddenly there were hundreds of him. It wasn't too surprising, he had amazing chakra, but in his training he never made this many.
He then proceeded to beat the living crap out of Mizuki while Iruka sat at the base of a tree and I leaned on the tree opposite him. Then the fight finally ended, and all I really wanted was to go to bed and see the three monsters that were like my siblings.

I watched as Naruto beat up Mizuki in front of me. When he was done his clones disappeared and he stood over the now unconscious Mizuki. I can't say I wasn't a little sad, I was friends with Mizuki, and disappointed that it had turned out like this.
"Naruto, come here and close your eyes for a moment."
He walked over and closed his eyes.
I reached up and untied my headband. Taking off his goggles I then tied it on Naruto's forehead.
"Can I open my eyes yet Iruka-sensei?"
"Yes, you can." He opened his eyes and stared at me for a while. "Congratulations Naruto, you pass."
Then Sara walked up, I had forgotten she was there.
"Yeah, good job spikes! I can't prank with you anymore, now that we're both ninja."
I smiled, looking at two of my favorite students, the future of Konoha sure was bright.
"Well what say you that we go out for some ramen? I'll treat."
By their cheers I knew it was a yes, and I went to stand but fell back.
"How about the hospital first Iruka?" Sara was using a bit of a smart-alec tone, but I didn't mind as much as before.
"That might be a good idea Sara."
