__Sara Pov__

I woke up early and made the three kids their lunches, also putting a bag of cookies Tsunami had taught me how to make so they could share them with their friends. I left a note on the counter telling Kakashi that he could tell my team about the temporary leave around noon, that way I had some time before Naruto came trying to drag me back.

Grabbing some small grapes the neighbor across the street had given us I walked out the door to meet with Kurenai's team. I was pretty sure the team was Kiba, Shino, and Hinata; so I really had nothing to worry about. When I got to the training grounds Hinata was already there so we talked for a while. She still didn't know that I was joining their team for a week.

When her team arrived she stood with me, "Well it was nice talking Sara, but we have training now so see you later."

I didn't really answer but went and stood Kurenai. The other three stared at me like I was mad before she spoke up.

"Well, I'm sure that you three know Sara, right?" They nodded. "So, for this week she's going to be joining us in training and missions, so be nice and make her part of the team."

I got some shocked looks, but that didn't surprise me, no one ever really did this before I'm guessing, which is weird. They didn't aske too many questions though, and for that I was thankful.

"So, today we're going to train and get to know eachother better, that way our teamwork with Sara can improve, alright?" This time we all nodded, agreeing.

_-_

To say that Kurenai's team was boring, would be very rude, but true. For the morning we walked through the forest talking and chatting. Well, I suppose Hinata, Kurenai, and I were walking and talking, while Shino was collecting some bug and Kiba and Akamaru were running through the trees wildly. Kiba was obviously the life of the team because Shino and Hinata are a little solemn, but I knew he wasn't as... how to put this nicely... dumb as Naruto. He would pull through when needed.

Hinata had less confidence than I realized, but with a good shove she could be better than ever. Shino was sorta... Shino? He kinda is just classified as himself since he doesn't give too much away, but well... what are you gonna do?

Anyways the walk sorta was interrupted at about 1:00 when my team burst through the trees. Even Sasuke was there, and he wasn't being pulled! They ran over to me in a rush and Naruto was the first to speak.

"Sara! Why are you leaving the team? Weren't we all a good combination? This is too mean!"

"Totally, I actually agree with Naruto on this one! You can't just abandon the team! Not after all we went through!" Sakura enthused as well. Sasuke stood there, he wasn't the type to yell, but he did care a little, and it counted.

"Woah! Chill before you burst a blood vessel! I can explain this in a civilized manner, right?"

They quited, but now Hinata and them were there, and you could tell everyone was interested.

"Wow, jeez, don't put me on the spot or anything." They all just looked at me expectantly. "Right then, you three," I pointed at my teammates, "should chill, it isn't permanent, and probably won't ever be for a while. You three deserve to know as well though," I gestured to Kurenai's team. "So, about the whole team thing, I decided for a month that I would work on my teamwork." I was interrupted by Naruto.

"Why can't you do that on the team Sara?"

"I think I was getting to that, thanks." He looked a little abashed, "right, now then. I didn't want to just improve my teamwork with one team, I wanted to do it in general, so I could eventually work with any team. I wanted to do that because, no matter what we hope for, we won't always be in the same team. This way I can get ideas for strategies, a better feel of how people react, and the ability to be assigned to any mission, regardless of the team."
