__Sara Pov__

The next day of travel was uneventful in the extreme. We made it to Ishigakura with no troubles and arrived at their village gates. I know what you're thinking, and no, they weren't giant like Konoha's gates. The architect here had been more realistic in his designs.

We walked up to the two gaurds who stood at the gate.

"What is your business in Ishigakura?" The one on the right asked. He was a taller man and had shaggy hair that almost covered his headband. He was handsome with intelligent blue eyes peaking out from his brown hair.

Beside him was a woman, but she didn't appear to be a ninja. She was in a light grey kimono with light purple flower petals along the bottom hem. Her hair was a deep purple, almost black, and was scooped up into a bun on her head. She had green eyes the color of the sea and seemed to have the same depth as well.

"We're here from Konoha on a mission. I was told the Hokage spoke to you about this. Here are the passports." Kurenai stated, handing him five slips of paper. He looked them over and handed them back to us.

"Right, then I suppose I'll see you around Kari." The man said to the woman.

"Yes, see you around." The woman, Kari, then turned to us, "If you would follow me, I'll show you where your hotel will be."

We followed her through the village. It was similar to Konoha, and people bustled about hurriedly from place to place. She stopped in front of a simple two story building and directed us inside. She spoke to the manager and then led us to our rooms. The girls were sharing one room and the boys were just across the hall from us.

I turned to the woman, "Thank you Kari, I hope to see you around town while we stay here."

"It was no problem. I would like to see you again as well Sara." With that she left us to go home. It wasn't until later I would realize that I had never told her my name.

I hate searching for this stupid necklace! I mean really, how are we supposed to find it in this wide of an area? We were just west of Ishigakura and so far we had found absolutely nothing.

Kiba had been given the scent of the necklace, as it was the scent of the owner, and Shino had sent out over half his bugs in search of it as well. Hinata used her byakugan and searched intensely for it. While Kurenai and I had to look the old fashioned way, turning over stones, looking in bushes, and scrabbling through the dirt.

Finally I sat down on the ground with a thump. "This is impossible bandages!" I complained over my radio.

The earpiece buzzed in my ear as the team responded. "Sara, you can't just give up so easily." Kurenai scolded.

"Yeah, otherwise we'll have to think up a nickname for you." Kiba joked around.

"Shut up kibbles, nobody wants a nickname you came up with. This forest is so huge though, how are we supposed to find something so small in just two days?"

"Hurtful Sara, I can come up with a cool nickname." Kiba said, I could literally hear the pout in his voice.

"Kibbles, you know I enjoy your company occasionally. Has anyone found anything yet at least?"

A low voice came on over the radio, "My bugs seem to have found something."

"Are you serious beetle? Great! Where are you?" I was excited at the prospect of finding this necklace and getting home.

"I'll send some bugs out to lead you over, I already placed a female on all of you."

"Are you saying that I've had a bug on me this whole time?" I asked hesitantly.
