After the whole Homecoming thing with Mindy and the night with Caleb, the next few weeks were left in peace. My fights started coming in regularly and my bank accounts were slowly increasing. Mindy sort of kept to herself but I could feel her glaring at the back of my head. When I'd meet her stare she'd just smirk at me like she knows something. I'm probably just paranoid.

"Hey Cat!" I turned around seeing a guy I've never seen before come up to me.

"Guy I've never seen before?" I moved to the lockers on the side so I didn't stop the traffic of in between class madness.

"That kind of hurts. It's Gabe. I'm in your 4th period we did that project with the rocket?" He asked trying to pull a little recognition, though failed. Miserably. "Anyways, I was wondering if you were free this friday?" My eyebrows raised in surprise.

"Um, why?" I asked cautiously.

"Because I'd like to take you out." I looked at Gabe, noticing his shaggy blonde hair and brown eyes. He was handsome, though obviously not as handsome as Caleb. As I was about to respond, arms encircled my waist and I tipped my head up to find Caleb with the most powerful glare I've ever seen aimed at Gabe.

"Yes she's busy friday." He pulled me to his side tightly never taking his eyes off Gabe.

"Well what's she doing?" Gabe asked not seeming to get the message.

"Hanging out with her boyfriend." His glare intensified.

"Oh, yeah who?" Gabe crossed his arms smirking as if he'd won, making me look at him incredulously.

"Seriously?" I asked him. His eyes shifted back to me. "Do you seriously not see the arm around my waist or the fact that he's imagining you being decapitated?" He shrugged while Caleb looked at me quizzically.

"How'd you know?"

"That's your "I want to decapitate you" look." I chuckled at him just as I was pulled out of his embrace.

"Anyways Cat, do you want to hang out?" Gabe asked hopefully and I trailed my eyes down to the hand gripping my waist then back at him. And once again before I could answer, Gabe was ripped away from me.

"Seriously am I ever going to be able to answer?" I asked no one seeing as Caleb had sent a punch to Gabe's face. I placed my hand on my hip watching them fight each other. "Is this really necessary?" I asked. Caleb didn't seem to be struggling at all, while Gabe could barely scrape him.

"You can tell me yes from there you know!" Gabe yelled in between getting punched.

"You seriously don't know when to shut up." Caleb growled out with a final punch, knocking him out. I looked around at the people who had gathered around us and I sighed.

I reached into my bag and pulled out a sticky note. After writing a big fat I DON'T WANT TO GO OUT WITH YOU on the sticky note, I placed it on Gabe's unconscious forehead. I stepped back to examine my work.

Gabe was slouched against the locker with his head dipped forward. His eye was starting to bruise along with his jaw, and blood spilled out of his nose. Caleb threw his arm over my shoulders, completely oblivious to the people whispering and pointing their fingers at us.

"Did you really have to hurt him so badly?" I mumbled as I took in his flawless appearance.

"He asked you out. In front of me. Everyone knows you're mine. He's an idiot. He deserved it." He asked with no hint of remorse as he smiled down at me. I chuckled as I turned around with him on my right and kept walking. "Anyways so what do you want to do this friday? Stay in and movie?"
