I know it's short, but I finally know how it's going to end and how I'm going to write it. This is basically the small little preview to set the scene. I'm so sorry it's late and whatever but I'm trying really hard to write for you guys. I've never had writer's block this goddamned strong. I hope you guys like it!

Love you guys!

"So how much information do you have already?" I asked taking a bite out of the sandwich Caleb had brought me.

"We found out where they're staying. They took over one of the warehouses outside of town. In MY district. They're begging for a war." He snarled looking at the map in front of him.

"Good, cause I'm sure as hell ready to give them one." I scowled at the chess piece, the rook, representing the Serpent Fangs sitting on top of the map. "So what's the plan."

"Right now there is none. We don't have enough information yet." My breathing stopped and turned to him with a glare.

"So you're saying, that in three days, you've come up with the most basics of information?!" I shouted. "What if they took Jade, or Blake! Would you be moving faster?!"

"I'd be going at the same speed! Besides! I know they can hold their own until I got there."

"What about me? What if it was me?" I asked standing my ground. I'd find a way to make him feel the anxiety I felt. He didn't care as much as he should but I'll make him.

"No force in the world would stop me." The sheer determination in his voice sent shiver down my spine but I ignored it.

"Well then here's an ultimatum. Kayla is my sister, and I won't EVER leave her alone. So if you don't get more information, and soon, then I'm going on my own. If I fail, I'm joining her. Damned be the consequences, the pain, the torture. I'm not letting her go through that alone, I'm not letting them kill me if it means she lives. In that hellhole we die together, or not at all." His fingers were gripping the table in anger, but I wasn't going to let him stall this any longer. "We go in now, or you can kiss me goodbye." He knew I was serious, he could hear it. No matter what, if we didn't get Kayla back, I was gone. I wasn't going to wait any longer.

"Why are you so damned stubborn!" He shouted, letting his anger unleash. I would have shrunk back, like before, but I'm tired of waiting. So I stood my ground, and glared at him as he shouted. "Do you not care for your own safety?! What would Kayla say if she heard you were risking your life for her?! What would she say if she knew you were willing to die if it meant saving her!? She'd want you to live! And here you are throwing away it all because you're scared! If we do this right, no one has to die. No one has to get hurt."

"You're right, but we're doing this now." I left no room for argument. "Plan. Right now. Or I swear to God Caleb, I will not let you knock me out again. Like you said, no force in the world will stop me." We stared at each other for a few seconds, his eyes pleading while mine glared with resolve. He sighed deeply as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"As much as I love you, you are so much work." He mumbled under his breath before shaking it off and looking at the map. "You win. Here's the plan."
