conspiracies

WITH HOW QUICK Simon and Raphael had taken off, it left the three Shadowhunters who didn't have the acquired skill to run as fast them to move slower behind the two vampires. Malia couldn't help but think about the mistake they had made, if Simon was going to be continuously angry and agitated. But the brunette couldn't imagine a life without Simon which was why bringing him back as a vampire was a hard choice, but a choice needing to have had to be made then explaining to Elaine that someone else within her family is dead.

Malia had slowed within her sprint whilst passing the truck, trying to figure out which why Simon and Raphael had gone. But the three Shadowhunters had been unaware of Raphael pushing himself to his feet, whilst looking at the torn shoulder of his jacket. "I swear, if that kid ruins one more jacket..." Malia's eyes trailed at the rip of the leather as she had skidded to a stop to look at the vampire.

Neither girls were interested in the state of Raphael's jacket. Their interest was on the absence of the Lewis who Raphael was supposed to have had caught up to. "where's Simon?" Malia asked as she studied the vampire with hope he had an answer to her question.

"He'll be back." Raphael reassured as if it was supposed to be comforting.

"You just let him go?" Jace questioned as his brows furrowed. "You said you'd look after him."

"I can't do that until he's ready."

Clary looked back at the vampire as she tried to grasp what Raphael had been saying. "What does that even mean?" She asked.

"It means he's where everybody goes when this happens." Malia's arms crossed over her chest as she tried to grasp what the vampire was saying. "His own personal hell." Raphael explained.

"I..I did this." Clary exclaimed, already feeling the guilt of what life she had been the one to choose for Simon. "I put him there."

"If it helps he doesn't even remember it was you." Raphael told, causing Malia to roll her eyes, nothing of what the vampire was saying was of 'help.' "Those first minutes...a complete blank."

"But I have to tell him the truth." Clary exclaimed.

"Once you rein him in, he'll be walking, talking proof to the Clave that Camille broke the Accords." Malia scoffed as she believed that Camille deserved a punishment rather than getting beat by her own clan. "In fact, as a new leader..."
