Chapter 10

Ian should start thanking Megan more often. If she wouldn't have pulled me off from there in the cafeteria, I would have definitely punched Ian and would've broken his nose, along with giving Kate a big fat bruise on her cheek. Meg came and dragged me out of the cafeteria as I charged towards them.

"What the hell were you thinking of doing Jean?" Meg yelled as she pulled me into an empty room.

"For starters, break Ian's nose and give him a black eye?" I growled.

"Get back to this world girl! You are no longer that badass chick you were before! Do you wanna blow up your nerd cover?"

"Oh please, I wanna blow up his balls!" I roared.

"No!" she screamed, as if she was in pain. "That is a horrendous idea!"

"What do you want me to do then?"

"Revenge darling," she grinned. "But without violance. We shall do it in a classic way."

"How better can the revenge get other than disfiguring his face?"

"There is even a better way. But you have got to do what I say."

"And that is?"

"Get that queen B down her throne."

"How am I supposed to do that?"

"Be the queen B yourself," she grinned wide.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I raised a brow.

"I find nothing kid worthy in the things I am telling you now," she folded her hands.

Me? Queen B? Never! Not in a thousand years!

"Let's get practical Meg. I am never gonna take down anyone in this nerd form. You get that? Nerds are not supposed to be queen B's!"

"Yup, you are right. Nerds aren't. But you are." her smile grew large. "The real you is."

Not with that back to your old self drama again! I had enough!

"What are you trying to tell?" I crossed my arms.

"Oh I have a lot to tell Jean, but everything of that involves you getting your old self. I just can't help it," she shrugged.

Why does everything has to be related to my oldself? Why can't people understand that I left it for my own good? I don't wanna get back to it. It has lot of many bad memories and I don't want those bad memories to come back to me again. I have done loads of bad things being like that. I don't wanna do those again. It is time I turn good.

Two days.

Two days, and I didn't speak to anyone. I had to sort my shit out and yeah, I needed time. Time alone. Meg didn't come to me; she knew me too well to give me some space. There was no way in hell that Arch was gonna come close to me, considering the amount of death glares he has been getting from Ian.

I was walking down the hallway all alone, looking down, drowned in my own thoughts. I looked up and bam!

"Oww!" I groaned standing up without the help offered to me, "can't you se-" I stopped abruptly when I looked at him.

"I'm sorry."

It was Ray.

The Ray Cunningham.

Okay cheeks, cool down!

"It is okay," I choked on my own spit. Ray was actually apologising to a nerd?

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah?" That came out like a question. "Maybe I should go now," I turned around to run away in any direction possible other than facing Ray.

"Hey!" he held my wrist.

I'm gonna die now.

"Hmm?" I looked like a small rat.

"Where are you running to?"

"Class?"

"Which class?"

"Chemistry."

"Great! I have chemistry as well. Maybe we can walk together?"

Ray hit his head somewhere real hard.

"Together?" I asked him inturn.

"Yeah, unless you don't want me to tag along."

"No," I shook my head, "I mean, yes, I want you to tag along. No! Walk together I meant! Argh! What am I blabbering?" I facepalmed myself.

"I take that as we can walk?"

"Yeah," I nodded.

We walked in silence. Slowly. Too slow actually. All the hallways got cleared and people were already seated in the class rooms. I hurried into the room taking my last bench all alone again as Ian now sits with Kate or Megan.

"Mind if I sit next to you?"

There was a loud gasp in the class. I looked up and shucks! It was Ray! Again!

From the corner of the eye I could see Ian glaring at me. As if daring me to let him sit beside me.

Good. He doesn't want me to sit near Ray as well? Great, I will!

"Sure," I smiled widely and he slumped down beside me. Ian looked as if he was gonna come and rip off my throat at any moment. More like Ray's throat actually.

The girls were giving me murderous looks and I felt deja vu all over. I was always tormented by these kinds of looks back in the other school. Even though I never really cared, but being away from all that shit for one whole year was just relaxing. But look, fate hates me living like a normal girl!

"So, what are you doing after school?" Ray snapped me into reality, as his hot breath tickled my neck.

Shucks!

I gasped, jerking away and hitting my head to the wall behind me. I groaned.

"I'm sorry that I startled you," he apologized. "Here, let me help you with that," he began massaging the spot with his long big fingers on my head. He was so close to me that I held my breath. Ian glared at us and a smirk appeared on my face. Oh I am gonna so love this!

I moved closer to him, my smirk widening at the sight of Ian flinching and balling his fists to the side. Oh so the bad boy is now jealous? Good, he should be. How dare he accuse me and Arch together! Now I'll show him what 'being all over each other' really means. Ian boy, you are really forgetting how much of a bitch I can be.
