Chapter 14

So much for letting Arch and Meg go astray and letting them bet on Ian and indirectly on me too. Argh! Are these people so desperate on trying to make my life a living hell?

I still remember why Kate haunts me like a grudging ghost.....

It is the first day I stepped into the school last year and Meg introduced me to Arch. It was more like Arch introducing himself to us. As I decided to be, I was in my nerd form and even acted like one.

Kate passed by me several times that day but she barely noticed me. I felt like I was some kind of a non existant, invisible creature being treated like that. I didn't mind. It was better if I had no attention on me. I could finally get over my past and start a new life.

But karma was a bitch!

I should've known that!

It was Kate's birthday that day and she wore the most expensive dress ever. It was all colourful and I felt like a unicorn barfed all over her or something!

She kept squealing, giggling with her minions and jocks who were extra sweet to her today. I sat at the lunch table near the dumpster, not minding the stench it was giving off and began eating my lunch.

My banana peel fell off the table and I didn't even mind picking it up. Like you all expected, Kate slipped on the peel and fell down, but while falling down, she took my whole lunch tray down with her, all my food falling over her and my chocolate smoothie landed right on her head, drenching her unicorn puked dress into something bearable.

She got up huffing and puffing, but poor thing, she broke her pencil heel on the way getting up and fell down again. But this time, on my extra cheese chicken burger. The whole cafeteria was laughing out loud and I was rolling on my chair, laughing my ass off.

She glared me which nearly choked me on my own breath and ran away crying.

Now you know why she hates me to the core. That was the last time I laughed so hard in thd public. She kept harrasing me and I tolerated her all the way until this present situation.

Karma has done enough damage to me, maybe it's time for a payback?

No way!

No freaking way!

You are not gonna go back on these revenge and vengence theories of yours!

But I can't take her anymore!

Bear her for another couple of months and you will be out and away from her forever and after.

The voices in my head are starting to argue these days and I am definitely not liking the feel of it.

Kate made it clear to us that none of our deal was gonna go out in public and especially to Ian. She commanded to all the people who witnessed it and they swore on their hearts to not to let it leak.

Well, talk about following!

Ian caught up with us after lunch yes, we stood on our word and didn't tell a single thing about what happened with Kate to him. He knew me quite well. He can spot out that I am not telling him something or when I am hiding it. He insisted me on telling what was bothering me the whole day and I kept declining it.

Evening was there in a flash and it was time for me to go home. I got out of the school and saw a huge group of squealing and giggling girls near a car. Was it Ray? Well, the last time I saw him, he was in the football practice and I am pretty sure that it was till late in the evening. Ian was here with me and no other guy had so much demand as these guys did. So who is that?
