Recap:
I looked at our intruder as he spun around his heel, surprised to have visitors. He was well built, tall, and lean. He had black hair the had been matted from the rain, and pushed to the side, a couple tattoos peaking out from his shirt. All in all, he was good looking but intimating.
"What the hell is all that noise?" Kelsey hissed at the boy, moving his flashlight to shine in his eyes. He didn't flinch.
I pulled out my bat from behind my back, trying to make a children's wooden bat look as scary as he did. Looking at it, he growled, before lunging at me.

"What the hell is going on in here?" I spun on my heel, spotting my father standing at the door of the barn. Then his eyes widen as he spot the strange boy, pointing towards the house.
"Girls, inside. Now." We both nod quickly before running inside. Once We both get inside, I run upstairs towards my room, Kelsey on my heels.
"Oh my god, Shay! Are you alright? That asshole could have killed you." I shook my head, pacing in my room.
"My dad is still down there, Kel. What if that boy kills him, then comes for us?" Kelsey's eyes widen.
"Shut up, Shay. You're scaring me more." She whimpered, not looking at me.
We both froze hearing the screen door close downstair. I grabbed the metal bat in my room that I used to play softball with as a teenager. Kelsey behind me, grabbing some book that was huge. "Ready?" I whispered, Kel nodding.
We quickly walked downstairs, seeing my father makes me lower my weapon. "Oh, Dad. It's just you, we were scared out of our wits." Kelsey nodding in agreement, lowering her book.
"Were going to hit me with a fucking book?" I squealed, the boy from the barn walked from behind my dad.
"What the hell is he doing here?" I asked, taking steps back towards the stairs, Kelsey eyeing the door.
"He needs somewhere to stay, and we will provide that for him." My jaw dropped, oh hell no.
I was about to reply, before Kelsey beat me to it. "He tried to kill us!" She accused, but it was true, he did.
"He's staying here." My dad saying sternly. Kelsey shook her head, before walking towards the door.
"I have to go home, anyway. Good night, Shay." She whispered before walking out towards her car.
Great, now I'm alone with a freaking pyscho killer. "Fine, I'll go get the couch ready for him."
My father shook his head, before pointing upstairs. "He can't stay down here. He will be on a mattress on your bedroom floor." My jaw dropped, my life sucks.
