Quick A/N: If you haven't heard Carrie Underwood's new song, you need to hear it! It's so good! Anyway, here's the chapter.
Also, I figured out how to fix my internet, if you got that message so here's the chapter. Please comment what you think as you read, I want to know! Thanks!
*Shay's POV*
I craned my neck, pain from it hanging for hours was shooting up through my veins.
"Damn." I groaned, before looking around the room. I was seated in the middle of a white room, tied to a single chair. There was one door at the front of the room and I could see shadows passing by it every so often.
"Oh, she's awake, boys." Two men poked their heads in, giving me a sarcastic grins. The first man looked over at the man beside him, "Go get him." The man gave him a quick nod before disappearing.
"How are you today, Miss?" He asked, before walking into the room. I felt exposed, not being able to move away from his lingering gaze. "Answer me," He growled.
My eyes widened, "Where am I?"
The man rolled his eyes, "Not my story to tell."
He walked towards me, before placing a hand on my cheek. I felt disgusted before trying lean away from his touch.
"Hands off, Ian."
My head snapped up to the door where I heard the voice.
Holy shit.
"Zach?"
*Ryder's POV*
“So have you contacted the gang yet?” Ansel asked, causally walking up to my locker.
“Shut the fuck up, man!” I hissed, checking around me, but all I could see is normal teenager behavior. Three girls gushing over some guy named Ryan, a few guys talking about a fight that happened last week, and a couple making out. Normal high school.
“Ansel, we are dealing with a gang. This isn’t a movie where they actually turn out to be “good guys”, these are guys that together for life and will kill you if you threatened the safety of one their friends, so do me a favor and don’t talk about it at school, got it?” I whispered, trying to make it seem more normal than a conversation like this would actually be.
“Sorry man, I didn’t think people at this school actually cared about other people’s conversation unless it was someone cheated on someone else but I got you.” Ansel defended himself as I rolled my eyes, a slight grin on my lips.
“Where’s Kelsey?” I inquired, glancing around for her blonde head, it seemed as though her and Ansel were never too far from each other.
“Here,” She sighed before pulling her school bag up higher on her shoulder. Truthfully she looked defeated. She had finals soon and was about to have to try to get her best friend back from a gang. I can’t say that I blame her to be honest.
“Well, let’s go then.”
Together we all walked out of the school.
“Are you guys ready for this?” I asked.
“Yes,” Ansel answered, just as Kelsey said, “As ready as I’ll ever be.”
“I’m serious guys, I need you guys to be fully in this, you can’t back out. I need you guys. Are you in this?”
Kelsey groaned, “For fuck’s sake Ryder! We’re in this! This is my best friend, so I’m going to get her back from these goddamn pricks that think that it’s just okay to take people, which it’s not. Then after I get her back, she’s going to help me study for my stupid chemistry final because I’m going to fail that class without her.”
