Recap:

"He needs somewhere to stay, and we will provide that for him." My jaw dropped, oh hell no.

I was about to reply, before Kelsey beat me to it. "He tried to kill us!" She accused, but it was true, he did.

"He's staying here." My dad saying sternly. Kelsey shook her head, before walking towards the door.

"I have to go home, anyway. Good night, Shay." She whispered before walking out towards her car.

Great, now I'm alone with a freaking pyscho killer. "Fine, I'll go get the couch ready for him."

My father shook his head, before pointing upstairs. "He can't stay down here. He will be on a mattress on your bedroom floor." My jaw dropped, my life sucks.

______________

*Shay's POV*

I watched as the shadows went across the roof of the bus as car flew past us, our older bus chugging along, slowly.

"It's our stop, Shay." Kelsey whispered softly, poking my arm, as I nodded silently, following her off the bus.

"Shay.." Kelsey trailed off as we took in the sight in front of us.

Ryder stood tall, flexing his chest, trying to make himself look tougher, and a boy around his age, arguing with each other. The other boy had two sleeves of tattoos going down his arms, a head of obviously dyed black hair while Ryder's was natural.

"Get out of here." Ryder growled, before he turned, seeing us. "Now!" He bellowed, automatically seeming nervous.

The boy turned to us, a nasty smirk on his lips, before leaning to Ryder. Holy shit, is Ryder gay? Just when I thought he was going to kiss him, he whispered something in his ear, Ryder's face scrunching up in disgust.

"I said, get out of here!" The other boy just smirked before taking off into the near by woods.

Ryder ran a hand through his hair, stress written all over his features. I almost felt sorry for him, but he still did scare the shit out of me that night, and is taking up half my room. On top of that, he's so rude. So, I almost felt sorry for him.

"Who was that?" Kelsey demanded, as we walked to him, his body turned towards the porch, ready to leave.

"Nobody."

His answer was too rushed, too suspicious.

"Who-" I started, Ryder rudely cutting me off.

"None of your business, go do some homework or something." His voice almost sounded like a growl, but I couldn't finish that thought, Ryder almost stalking off towards the barn.

"What's up his ass?" Kelsey asked, rolling her eyes, as she started down the road towards her house.

What was up with Ryder? If anything he should be grateful about what my family is doing for him. But, of course, he's still rude.

So, Kelsey is right.. what is up his ass?
