The next day was sadly a Monday, meaning school. Kelsey hasn't been coming by in the morning anymore since Ryder started to come to school though, I wondered if she was scared to wake him up instead of me one morning. The thought makes me giggle.

"What ya giggling about?" Ansel questions next to me, as our old bus chugs along the road slowly.

"Oh, nothing." Ryder gives me a questioning look, he was sitting across from me next to Kelsey.

"I bet it's Ryder's morning breath?" Kesley suggested, as I let out a snort. His breath was horrible in the morning.

"You told her about that?" Ryder groaned, his cheeks tinting pink.

He would always try to hug, talk, or kiss me in the mornings which I would quickly deny if he had not brushed his nasty breath away before hand.

"Yo, Ryder, right?"

My head turned as Eric, school player, and in my book a grade A pain in the ass, moved to the seat behind Ryder.

"Yeah, what's it to you?"

My eyebrows raised at Ryder's words, but he stood confidently behind them. Eric even looked a little taken back, which was a sight by itself, but just shook it off. I guess, he really wanted to talk to Ryder if he was going to shake that off, now I was interested.

"Well, my bros and I are having a party this Friday night, you wanna come?"

Ryder looked to me, as if for permission. I was too stunned to give him an answer either way. But, I knew I didn't want him going to that party, all the pretty and popular girls will be there, dressed like whores. Ryder was too good looking for me, I already knew, but he would discover that there.

"Uh, sure."

My heart dropped.

Eric smirked, "Cool, see you there, man,"

Ryder nodded, before turning around.

"Wait, where's it at?"

Eric nodded, "Here's my number, I'll text you the details."

Ryder grabbed it, and thanked him.

Kelsey stared at the paper as though it was the Bible being burned as Ryder crumbled it into his pocket.

"You really should stop telling people about my morning breath, Shay."

He began to continue the conversation as if the popular crowd didn't just invite him in. Ansel and Kelsey didn't say a word, they knew that Ryder and I needed to have a conversation.

The bus stopped at our stop, Eric called out bye to Ryder as we stepped off the bus.

"I'll walk you home?" Ansel offered Kelsey as she blushed, accepting, I smiled as my best friend walked down the road happily. I need to talk to her about Ansel.

"So, you gonna go?" Ryder frowned in confusion at my question.

"Go where?"

Seriously? He didn't understand what it meant to have Eric Graves, himself not one of his minions, invite you to his party.

"To Eric's party." I decided to be patient with him, he was new to our school.

"Yeah, I am."

I nodded, I knew it was selfish but I wished to have been invited as well, but I knew why they invited Ryder, he had the bad boy aroma. Everyone is strangely attracted to it, and its "cool".

"Oh," I said back.

I wanted him to invite me, but I couldn't ask.

"Okay," He chuckled, "Homework to do, so see you later."
