Tris's POV

I wake up and automatically smile. Today's mine and Tobias's 5 month anniversary. It's been 3 months since my birthday and the day that we took a step further in our relationship. Things have been better than ever in my life. School is great, family is great, friends are great, my boyfriend is great. Everything is amazing.

I get out of bed and take a shower. I put on a white long sleeve crop top, black high waisted jeans, black converse, and Tobias's black leather jacket. I leave my hair straight and apply black mascara and red lipstick. I go to my dresser and put on the T necklace and the promise ring. I grab my stuff and run downstairs.

"Morning Mom," I say and grab an apple.

"Morning sweetie. Have a good day at school," Mom says.

"I will. Bye. See you later," I reply and stick the apple in my mouth. I get in my car and drive to school. I get out of my car and walk inside. I see Tobias at my locker and smile. I run to him and fling myself into his arms. He hugs me back.

"Tobias," I say. He sets me down, and I look at him.

"Do you know what today is?" I ask smiling.

"Umm. Is it Wednesday?" Tobias asks. He forgot. I frown, and he smiles.

"I'm kidding. Happy 5 month anniversary love," he says, and I hit his arm.

"Don't do that again. You scared me," I reply.

"Sorry. But I had to mess with you," he tells me.

"I hate you," I tease.

"Please. You could never hate this," he says.

"I know. I love you," I say and hug him.

"I love you too baby girl. And here's a little something I got for you," he replies and hands me a gift. I unwrap it and open the box. Inside is a picture of Tobias and I staring into each others' eyes with so much love. The picture is in a frame that says "True Love Is Powerful". I look up at him and smile.

"I love it Tobias. And I got you something too," I say and hand him my gift. He unwraps it and takes the chain of charms out. He looks up at me.

"Each of the charms represents something," I explain. "The black tiger represents you. The stormy blue wolf represents me. The microphone represents our dreams. The person represents our future children. The tree represents us in our old age together. And the heart represents our love through all of this."

"Tris. I love it. I will cherish it forever," he says and kisses my forehead. He puts the chain in his pocket, and the bell rings.

"I'll see you at lunch," I say.

"Ok. See you then," he replies, and I kiss his cheek. I walk to my first period and sit down in the back. The teacher walks in and writes something on the board. When she moves, I see that she put down that today is a free day. I hear a bunch of 'yeah's, and Christina, Marlene, and Shauna run over to my seat.

"So. Did he remember?" Christina asks.

"Yes. He did," I answer.

"Did he get you something?" Marlene asks.

"Yes. He did," I answer. Again.

"What did he get you?" Shauna asks. I laugh at all of the questions.

"He got me a picture of us in a frame that says "True Love Is Powerful". He knows that I've always loved that quote," I tell them. They all aww, and Christina talks next.
