Chapter 29: Aliyah

I texted Nate to come over and the two of us sat outside watching the stars as I laid back in his arms.
"How did you escape."
"I snuck out not the first time."
"Are you alright after today? What did your parents say?"
"They were furious they want me to ditch you and go to college."
"They have a point though you won't be able to be a doctor like you wanted."
"Maybe not but there are other things I can do that'll be just as good all I want to do is a job that helps people, but I want to make sure I help you first,"
I looked down taking my eyes away from Nate.
"What's wrong?"
"Your Mum came over this afternoon."
"She did what for?"
I took the envelope out of my pocket and showed it to Nate.
"She gave me this."
Nate opened the envelope and was lost for words at the contents.
"Why would she do this? She has no right."
"She wants what's best for you."
"I'll give it back to her we don't need her money."
"I don't know maybe we do neither of us has a job."
"I'll get one I'll take care of you we don't need her help."
"Are you sure?"
"Of coarse I want you to have the very best and I can look after all of us."
Nate placed his hand on my stomach and slid it up my back to my cheek then kissed me on the lips.
"I know you will that's why I love you."
I pulled away from Nate and held myself up as I stared up at the stars.
"Have you been thinking of any names yet?"
"For the babies?"
"Yeah."
"No not really haven't really put much thought into it yet, what about you?"
"I have a whole list of names that I love we should go through it later and pick ones we both like."
"There is one name I have had on my mind it could be a middle name for our little girl."
"What is it?"
"Arlia, It just seemed like a perfect way to honour and remember her."
"Yeah I like that so we've picked a middle name for her now she just needs a first name."
"We can get onto that later let's just enjoy the night."
"Ok."
I shifted closer tonight and he wrapped his arm around me.
"You feel cold are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks."
"I'm really glad we decided to give us another try."
"Me too I don't think I could do this with out you."
"You could your a strong person."
"I know but I'm happy your here to help and I'm sorry for pushing you away before."
"So am I and none of that matters now it all worked out perfectly because I have you."
