All The Love He Does Not Know

Chapter 25: Aliyah

I sat down on my bed and placed my hand on my stomach.
"I know you two aren't gonna have the best life but I'll do my best even if it is just me."
"Ali?"
I heard a soft whisper and looked up to see Nyla and Cameron standing at my bedroom door peeking around the corner.
"What are you two up to?"
"We wanted to come see you." Cameron whispered.
The two of them climbed onto my bed and laid down next to me as Nyla moved closer.
"Are there really babies in there?" She asked.
"Yep two."
"Aren't they squished in your tummy though?" Cameron spoke.
"No not yet but they will be later."
"Will we get to meet them soon?" Nyla said
"When it's time for them to be born."
"Will that be soon?"
"Not for a while yet."
Nyla spoke up then Cameron continued with more questions which she loved because she enjoyed learning and taking in new information.
"I can't wait."
"Me either, are you excited Ali?"
I looked down at my stomach with a worried look on my face.
"I'm not sure if I can do it alone."
"You won't be alone you'll always have us."
"We love you Ali."
"I love you's too."

The three of us laid cuddled up in bed together until mum walked in.
"Ali there's somebody at the front door for you."
"I wasn't expecting anybody."
"Are you sure?"
I raced down stairs and walked slowly to the front door when I saw it was Nate standing there waiting for me.
"Nate this is a surprise."
"I know it's late but I needed to see you."
"Alright come on in."
Nate grabbed my hand and the two of us walked over to the lounge and sat down.
"I was really stupid running out on your like that."
"You were scared I understand."
"But I'm suppose to be a man, a father for them I can't be scared."
I slid over next to Nate sliding my hand down his cheek.
"Everyone gets frightened sometimes."
"Do you think we could start over from now?"
"Sure."
Nate leaned close to me and kissed me on the lips bringing back all the memories and moments we had shared which felt like so long ago.
"Are you sure this is what you want?"
"If it's with you and our babies then yes."
I smiled as his lips touched mine again.
"Your too sweet."
"It comes naturally."
