When I arrive at school I stand outside the auditorium alone where our year level was rumoured to be meeting. As I waited I constantly kept checking my phone to see if I had a message from any of my friends who I hadn't seen anywhere this morning .
Moments later the bell rang and kids from my grade all slowly wandered over to where I was standing which relived me to know that I was in the right place.

When the doors opened everybody waiting outside rushed in to take a seat in the crowd. I sat down in the corner alone placing my bag on the floor and wrapping my arms over my stomach as teachers began to gather in the middle.
"Today," Our year 11 coordinator Mr Allington began his speech
"You will begin what will be the hardest years you will ever face here at Hallenmer High School. Year 11 will be a tough year for everyone and you may struggle but there are teachers, counsellors and tutors who are all here to help you achieve the best results possible,"
Mr Allington began to walk towards a set up table and grabbing a piece of paper from it.
"Your first class will be replaced with Home Room where your teachers will give you all the necessary information you will need for this year including your school planners, I will start with 11A and students will proceed straight to their teachers and will be taken to their appointed class from there."
The coordinator began to read out the the students names and I completely zoned out until he reached 11C.
"11C is Mr Bennetts class he is new to the school I hope you kids will give him a warm welcome." He continued reading out the names of the student who where in that class including my name as an attractive man who couldn't have been a day older than 25 stepped forward. I sat for a moment admiring him as girls started to whisper all around me drooling over him. I stared into his bright blue eyes as I descended the stairs. I began to trace his tall slender body from his well groomed dark brown hair to his tight fit skin coloured pants. He shifted his head and our eyes met for a short moment before I adverted mine in embarrassment afraid that he'd seen me staring at him.

My class and I entered our class room and Mr Bennett walked in moments later and placed a box full of our school planners on the desk. I took a seat in the back corner of the room alone as the teacher began to circle around the classroom distributing the planners amongst us stopping at me.
"Your sitting alone?"
"Yeah," I said neatening up the loose strand of hair that always seemed to poke out and tucking them behind my ear.
"I don't have any friends in home room lucky it's only for 10 minutes every morning."
He started to speak with a quirky grin on his face. "Well I'm sure you'll make some friends in this class." I spun my head around to look at the students who were in my class as I hadn't payed attention to the students Mr Allington had called out after my name had been said. The people in my class were all the "popular" students who I would be to uncool to be able to talk to and sit with.
"No I don't think so I'll just stick with my lonely corner."
"Well then here's your planner."
Mr Bennett placed a new smelling book on my desk and then walked back up to the front of the room with the smirk still spread across his face. I didn't want to have one of those creepy student crushes on him and be just like all the other girls at this school but I couldn't help it.
