Chapter 49: Nate

My mum dropped me off at the hospital and I made my way down the hall to Aliyahs room. I peaked though the door to see her asleep and crept quietly in. Luna squealed in excitement when she saw Aliyah and I could tell that she had missed her. Aliyah opened her eyes and immediately took Luna from my arms.
"Omg I missed you so much,""
Reed smiled as I leant him in closer.
"You too my little man."
I kissed Aliyah and laid Reed down on the bed.
"How are you feeling this morning?"
"Great, much better."
"That's good."
"Yeah the doctor is coming in today to tell me when I can go home."
"Hopefully it's soon we miss having you around."
"Is it just you here?"
"Yeah your mum and dad are at work."
"Whoops I forgot what about Lexi?"
"She's at school I think."
"Is she gonna corn around to visit?"
"I'm not sure she said she was busy this afternoon."
"Aww ok hope she's not avoiding me."
"Why would you think that?"
"I don't know just thought she would want to come see me that's all I miss her."
"If sure she feels the same."
"Yeah, well at least I've got you three here to keep me company."
"You'll always have us."
"I hope so."
The twins laid on the bed together as the doctor walked into the room to speak to Aliyah.
"How are you feeling today?"
"Much better than yesterday."
"Any pain?"
"No my eye doesn't even hurt anymore just a bit sore when I blink."
"Yeah it would be."
She smiled slightly at the doctor as he examined her clipboard.
"Am I able to go home soon?"
"Your fine to go home now."
"Really?"
"Yep but you need to take it easy."
"Easy?"
"Yeah you've been through a lot just make sure your not racing around or stressing too much."
"Ok thank you so much."
"No problem have a nice day."
"You too."
She turned to me as the doctor left the room and he spoke up.
"Ready to go home?"
"Yes! Can we get something really good on the way home though? The food here is horrible."
"Of course when we find someone to pick us up."
"I'm sure someone is free."
"I'll call my mum to see if she's left for work yet."
"Ok don't take too long."
"I won't I promise."

I placed the twins In their carriers as Aliyah sat on the side of the bed holding her arm which she always did when ever she was worried or nervous about something so knew something was up.
"You ok?"
"With what?"
"Are you feeling alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine, how come?"
"You just looked worried."
"No I'm just thinking."
"What about."
"Nothing important."
She stood up fast holding her head as she cringed.
"Ali?."
She smiled and turned to me.
"I told you I'm fine, don't worry it's just a headache."
"Is that normal?"
"For someone who got knocked out and almost died? Yeah."
I heard my phone beep and I looked at it to see a message from my mum saying she's outside.
"My mums here you ready?"
"Yup lets get out of here I've had enough of hospitals."
The two of us walked out and I didn't know what I was suppose to do I needed to tell her about what happened between Lexi and I but how could I hurt her like that? especially now.
