Lexi had told me how it had gone with Ali and I knew I needed to talk to her. I knocked once on the door checking to see if anyone was home but there was no answer. I was about to walk away when I heard Luna and Reed screaming from our room upstairs. I burst in through the doors and raced up stairs to see them both standing up in their cots with tears in their eyes.
"It's alright guys Daddy's here."
I held them for a little bit to calm them down and then began to worry when Aliyah didn't show up.
"I wonder where Mummy is."
I placed them both back in their cots and walked down stairs. I reached the kitchen and searched around before finding Aliyah laying unconscious in the corner. I raced over to her shouting her name.
"Aliyah, please wake up please."
I lifted her up in my arms trying not to panic.
"Your gonna be ok I promise."
