Flint walked out of the room, not believing what Ozpin had said. It made no sense to him. He, a dangerous assassin, was responsible for keeping a deity alive? He didn't even know the deity!

Or did he?

----

Ozpin let out a small sigh as he sat behind his desk, his hands covering his face.

"Why didn't you tell him?" Chronos asked the silver-haired male. Ozpin was about to answer but his blonde female friend stepped in and interrupted him.

"What did you expect Ozpin to say to him? That his fiancé is about to be sacrificed? That if he doesn't kill his fiancé, all hell will break loose?" Glynda barked angrily.

"Yes, I did. He is an assassin at heart. I could tell when we clashed blades. He will want to know everything, and I'm sure he knows goddamn well that you're lying. I could tell and you didn't even have to look at me." Chronos remarked, challenging Glynda. Glynda glared at the blue-haired male, ready to blast him away with he-

"Chronos, I forgot to ask you. How is your wife, the Winter Maiden doing?" Ozpin asked, shattering Chronos' appearance. Chronos' dark blue eyes darted at him, then quickly flashed to the window. He took a deep breath, then spoke with a large amount of sadness in his voice.

"She might die any day now."

Flint was already at the entrance to Beacon, ready to resume his search for Cinder. His scroll suddenly beeped, drawing his attention and forcing him to pull the darn thing out.

Someone had sent him a message.

"Flint, she's been kidnapped."

The messenger was Lilly Lockryder, his sister and the one person taking care of his daughter. Immediately, Flint sprinted past the gates, running toward the wall that separated Hunanity and the Creatures Of Grimm, awaiting their chance to eliminate their enemies.

A shadowy figure stood in front of the army, a baby cradled in its arms.

-----

Flint sprinted down the streets, his cheeks reddening from the exertion and the effort when his scroll begun ringing. He paused slightly, then opened the scroll. He put the detached the ear-piece from scroll, then put the scroll away and located the ear-piece into his ear.

"What is it?" He asked between deep breaths of delicious airs he began sprinting.

"This seems familiar, doesn't it Flint? Me calling you to inform you of Cinder's current location." Ozpin said as he looked out his tower, already seeing the large for of black and white beasts approaching the very walls meant to keep them out.

"She's at the wall again, isn't she?" Flint asked, clearly running. His breathing was harsh, as if he had one lung missing and the other was trying to make up for the loss lung.

"She is. As well as someone else."

"Who?"

"Cassinova."

----

Flint has finally reached the wall, using his semblance to launch him onto the top by focusing the electricity through his shoes.

He looked down upon the Grimm just outside the golden walls, the sun beginning to set. The soldiers that stood next to him gaped at the massive numbers before them, some already saying prayers. Flint however was staring at someone in front of the army, with another figure behind her.

"Cinder....." He breathed. But that wasn't all. In. Her arms, she cradled something ever so slightly.

"Emilia."
