Flint ran as fast as he could. The streets were packed with cars and the sidewalk was basically pushing people into the streets so Flint ran between the cars.

He fumbled with his hands, trying to remember how to activate his armor. It was encased in a backpack, hidden from view. Now though, Flint brought fumbled with the zipper trying to reveal his armor.

He reached the wall, staring at the massive fortifacation infront of him.

Someone stood atop of it.

-----

Cinder stood behind the wall, waiting for Mercury's signal. Behind her, the massive Grimm pack stood, awaiting to obey her very whim. When she had discovered her second semblance's power, she knew what she was meant to do.

Kill Ozpin and the other executives who had denied her the revenge she so longed against General Ironwood, the man whom ended her life as she knew it.

Suddenly, a memory began surfacing. It was late last night, when she had discussed the "loose ends" with an assassin of hers.

-Flashback-

-Yesterday-

"You're asking me to do what!?" The male before her shouted.

"You heard me, Silver." Cinder simply replied. Her annoyance level began rising, about to send her over the edge.

"You are asking me to violate my policy as an assassin and kill a retired assassin?" Silver Chronos, the most powerful assassin to live gawked at the request before. Of course, his face had been derived of emotion. He was good at that. Years of being an assassin had taught him how to lie and clean his face of emotion.

Cinder sighed, her annoyance levels growing even more.

"I take it you want twice the price." Cinder said as she closed her eyes, waiting for his answer. Throughout all of her brilliant planning, all of the contingency plans she had created, she can ever expected this to happen. Her fiancé, Flint Lockryder, was alive. He was possibly the only thing standing in between her and her dream of revenge, her dream of finally giving Ironwood what he deserved: a bullet to the brain.

That's why Silver Chronos was here. Cinder had contacted him, saying she had a job he couldn't turn down. In truth, she was right. He couldn't turn it down.

"2 million dollars, just to kill Flint Lockryder?" Chronos gaped as he looked into her eyes, waiting for any sign of emotion to drift into them.

"He's a thorn in my side." Cinder said shortly after.

"He's your future husband." Chronos said, finally putting his trump card on the table. It was Cinder's turn to gawk. She hadn't realized that Chronos would conduct a background search, and in fact with the sudden revival of her fiancé, she hadn't realzied anything.

"He's going to attempt to stop my plans. I can't have that. I've worked far too long for my plans to be stopped by one male." Cinder said the word male as if she had hated him her whole life.

"One male will stop your plans?" Chronos asked, his attention peaked. Flint Lockryder was the most successful assassin, but there was something that the two had in common: just like Chronos himself, Flint only accepted jobs against other criminals.

"He will attempt to stop my resolve. I would rather not have that. Do you accept or do I have to find another assassin to pay 2 million dollars?" Cinder's annoyance level was far above her normal levels, indicating her eagerness to close the deal.

"I'll take the job." Chronos said as he stood up. "Where would you like for me to be?"

"On top of the wall, waiting for him."

-End-

Flint's eyes widened as he noticed who had been standing at the top of the wall. Silver Chronos, the most powerful assassin to ever live, awaited him. The only way he'd get to talk to Cinder would be if he defeated Chronos.

"Your time has come, Flint Lockryder." Chronos called ax he leapt down the massive wall. (Anyone else thinking of attack on titan?)

Flint laughed for a short second to himself.

"Is that how you start off everyone of your kills?" Flint said as his armor finally activated, attaching itself to him.

Chronos wore a suit that was very much like the original Chronos from the child hood stories. He wore a suit with buttons that looked like the gears in a clock. His color scheme was blue, so he wore a light blue undershirt that revealed itself at the collar. (if you want what I'm getting at, Google up Chronos Smite)

The only difference was that he had multiple weapons, consisting of dual pistols, dual full-auto pistols, and multiple melee weapons.

"Only when I'm facing a worthy opponent." Chronos countered as he reached the floor, unharmed.

"I'm flattered." Flint said as he tapped a small button on his armor.

Chronos finally got a good look on Flint's armor. He noticed that the armor was a light yet durable material that would withstand nearly any attack. The armor itself had the feeling of 'scales' and it had multiple unfamiliar markings.

Flint's sword was a long, on-sided blade that looked more mechanized than it did metalized. It too had red markings but they were more distinct.

His sword gave the impression of a 'Dragon'.

Flint closed his brown light blue eyes. When they reopened, they were blood red. His eyes changed colors whenever his semblance was activated, signaling the return of his powers. His sword responded to the electric current flowing through his body instantly, electric voltage bolting in every direction for a short distance. The Lightning was red.

"Well then. Shall we?" Chronos said as he too activated his semblance.

'Oh Fuck.' Flint thought to himself as both fighters rushed each other.
