ALEN
It's been two hours and she's still asleep. I can't believe my best friend has done such trouble to a woman like this.
She doesn't deserve this...
I stood up from being seated on the side of the bed when I noticed her opened her eyes.
"Nasan ako?"
I smiled at her making her notice my presence.
"Alen? What happened?"
Agad itong bumangon mula sa pagkakahiga.
"Nawalan ka ng malay so I took you home.. I mean, here in my place since malapit lang naman 'to sa hospital. How do you feel? Do you want something to eat?"
She smiled but the sadness in her eyes is visible. Hindi ko alam kung kumportable ba ito na kaharap ako o galit din ba ito dahil nilihim ko ang aking nalalaman. I can't believe how j3rk my best friend is.
"I'm fine, I need to go Alen. Salamat sa pagtulong sakin."
Kahit gaano kaamo ang mukha niya ay hindi ko magawang titigan ito sa mata.
"A-Andrea..." Malapit na ito sa pintuan ng nagpasya akong tawagin ito. Agad naman itong lumingon ng nakangiti.
"I'm sorry again... I thought-
"You don't have to... Hindi rin naman ganun kalapit ang loob mo sa akin para maging concern ka. Thank you for being real anyway. I have to go..."
Tama naman siya. Ano bang inihihingi ko ng tawad? Hindi ko naman ginusto yun at hindi naman ako kasama sa mga plano ng kaibigan ko.
But I have this feeling, some guilt... I don't know why I'm feeling something weird inside me.
Concern maybe?

I just got home today. After two weeks of living in that condo near the Hospital. I can't believe I made that choice!
I searched for Andrea everywhere, pero wala akong makitang ni anino niya.
Nasaan naba siya? I also went to our office yesterday but she wasn't even there. Hayy... maybe, she's at Dad's home. Kung pupunta man ako roon, anong mukha ang ihaharap ko sa kanya?
Bahala na... I needed to see her. I need to explain to her.
Kung hindi lang sana ako naging tanga!
Flashback at the hospital
"Paul.. I'm sorry... Let me explain."
She's shaking when I handed her the true results of her exams given by her new doctor. I've learned that morning that the doctor assigned to her has resigned so I took the initiative to hire one of the best doctor just for her. At hindi ko akalaing madadatnan ko si Andrea.
