"Papasukin niyo ako!"

I can't imagine what's happening. Kanina pa ako dito, bakit ba ayaw nila akong papasukin sa loob ng board room.

"Sorry sir. Mahigpit pong ipinagbilin ni Ma'am Andrea na huwag kayong papasukin."

Napasapo ako sa aking noo. Gusto ko lang makausap ang asawa ko, I don't care about what the meeting is all about.

"Let me in or you will lose your job"

Kinuyom ko ang aking mga kamao na siya namang nakapagpaalarma sa aking kaharap.

"S-Sir, sumusunod lang naman po kami sa utos ng CEO"

It made me realized one thing, tama nga naman siya. Sino ba ako para magpumilit na pumasok.

I slowly sat on the couch inside my office na kung hindi ako nagkakamali ay office na ngayon ni Andrea. Of course, she deserves it. I face palmed myself as I waited for Andrea's interrogation. Ang kanilang mga ngiti ay napalitan ng paga-alinlangan at isa-isa silang nagsisibulungan.

"Does it have something to do with your marriage with the CEO?" Tanong ng isang member ng board.

"I must be honest. It has been a fruitful year for all of us. Regretfully, I and my husband have agreed to file for a divorce due to unbearable circumstances."

At dahil dito, mas lumakas pa ang bulungan. I don't understand why they even bother arguing with that very simple thing.

"I think you are involving your personal things with business Ms. Montemayor. You know that this kind of decision needs verification from the CEO himself. You can't decide on your own."

I can't imagine how stupid this person is. Humanda siya kapag ako ang naging CEO.

"Yes you are right. My personal life has something to do with our business." Tahimik ang lahat at handang makinig sa akin habang ako ay nakatayo sa kanilang harapan.

"I made a mistake for covering up my husband, the CEO, because I thought he could changed. I'm sorry for  mixing my personal reasons with business."

Siguro nagtataka kayo kung bakit ko 'to ginagawa dahil ako rin, I'm not sure why I am doing this. Pero, tama lang sa kanya ito, hindi na ako papayag na muling mapaikot sa bitag niya.

"So if the CEO was not sick and is not away for business trip, where is he?" Tanong ng isa pang member ng board.
